AntZ 1 Posted July 24, 2011 Do I have to be home to sign it when the ammo is delivered?
BlackOps Badger 52 Posted July 24, 2011 I never had to sign when I ordered from Cheaper Than Dirt, or Cabelas. Don't know about any others though.

Pew Pew Plates 358 Posted July 24, 2011 Its up to the sender not the carrier. typically they dont require it as its a $2 fee for UPS
Scottcba1 8 Posted July 24, 2011 I order from Natchez all the time and never have to sign for it. The UPS guy must think Im crazy between the amount of ammo drop off with the rediculous small arms stickers on the outside of the box and my 130lbs. rottie that wants to eat him everytime he gets out of the truck and crosses onto my property. He drops the boxes on the steps and runs for the truck before I can even open the door too sign! lol. -Scott

71ragtopgoat 23 Posted July 24, 2011 Don't know of any sellers who require signatures. I use gundeals.com and always buy the cheapest shipped price so I use many sellers.Never a problem.
Old Glock guy 1,127 Posted July 24, 2011 I have ordered ammo from several different dealers and have never had to sign.
njitmetal 2 Posted July 26, 2011 I've had to sign for some, not for others. FedEX always gets a signature for CMP deliveries. UPS just the other day dropped two cases of IMI m193 on my doorstep. Didn't even ring the bell.
Rifleman1 32 Posted August 25, 2011 Since once it is delivered I am responsible, I have it delivered to the office.

AnthonyG 36 Posted September 17, 2011 I order from ammunition to go they have good prices and no signing or faxing or emailing anything. Because they are in the real USA, Texas.
RecessedFilter 222 Posted September 17, 2011 I have never signed for anything...even with retailers that have on their website 'must sign once received'. I can agree with the other folks. My UPS guy is getting more and more jacked every time I see him. The last package he dropped off was 78 lbs hahaha. He gets a good Xmas present though! Aleshka 0 Posted September 17, 2011 Every time I order ammo online the disclaimer says - adult signature required. However, over last 3 years I cannot recall a single time when they just wouldn't drop it off by my garage door. Go figure...

alowerlevel 77 Posted September 17, 2011 Ive never had to sign for any ammo, UPS has left 2k rds of ammo sitting next to my front door before.
Krdshrk 3,882 Posted September 17, 2011 I ALWAYS have to sign for my ammo. I almost never get packages right at my door since I live in a condo complex. Luckily I have a security guard (Gated community) so I tell them if I have a package that needs to be intercepted. Or I'll sign the missed package slip and have them re-deliver to security.
