Fn Fiveseven

Does anyone have a fiveseven? Do you like it? any ranges i could possibly rent one? Considering selling the usp since i dont shoot it much anymore and getting the five seven. Any thoughts on this? I know everyone's going to say the lack of full cap mags but when i move ill be ready to get the full mags.

I know it's far from you but I believe the Heritage Guild in Easton, PA has one to rent. Ammo is gonna be pretty expensive.

Thanks ill check them out, yea i know the ammo isnt cheap. But i would like to try it out before spending that kind of money on a purchase.

Also, check with the ranges where you plan on shooting it if you get one. I've heard of indoor ranges have signage up saying that 5.7x28 using guns are not allowed.

great gun......hell of a round.....price not bad... cabela's recently had it for 17.99 for 50 rounds....not too bad.

I've shot a friend's fiveseven a few times. The round is a little snappy but I couldn't believe at first how easy it was to hit an eight inch plate consistently from 50 yds (on a rest). As far as looks go, the FN five seven makes my Glocks look really pretty.

I have one, absoutely one of my favorite. ammo is about the same price as .45

I have shot TJ's and it's a sweet shooter. It has very little recoil and the round is 2000 fps+ , so it's strong. Ammo is comparable to 45acp. It is a great gun for woman because the recoil is light.

Nice gun, takes the term "tactical tupperwear" to the next level. Fan of the round, not a fan of plastic cheapy feel of the gun.

Idk why everyone thinks its ugly. I like the look of it. The recoil is a major reason I like it because once I'm out of state it would be great for a carry gun for both me and the gf. as well as the ability to get 20 & 30 round mags for it.

The ps90 would also be ideal when I'm out of state for 50rd mags. Its a nice rifle I would live to have one day. Glenn I see your point but its just one of those things I like even if it is unnecessary. And no I'm not a mercedes driving rich guy. Figure if I sell the usp ill be close to the price of the fiveseven. And I dont use the usp anymore so.

I hear NJ SWAT was looking into the 5.7 to replace the .40 they use in their MP5's. I bleive the decision was made they have too much invested in the .40 and the HK's now to do the switch to the PS90.

OP, Firearms Guild in Easton does have a 5.7 for rental. I can't tell you how much the ammo was, I forgot to check.
