NJScott 15 Posted May 6, 2012 So far this year I've added a Taurus 1911 in .45 and the Glock 23 in .40 I just picked up from Ira. Took my XDM .40 and the new Glock out to Heritage Guild in Easton and cycled two boxes each of Federal through them. Flawless and accurate as balls. notmetoo 41 Posted May 15, 2012 Dude. Love the grips. Very nice Thanks! Conrad at Gungrips.net made them for me. Easy to work with, fast turnaround and the grips are Hogue aluminums. Downside? Keeping them clean!
Ray Ray 3,566 Posted May 15, 2012 I really don't like the grips, but it's a great firearm.

Krdshrk 3,878 Posted May 25, 2012 Because I wanted something striker fired, that's not a pocket gun..... and that's not a glock
deadeye74 5 Posted May 25, 2012 So far this year: Sig 1911-22 FNP 9mm GP100 38 special Sig P226 tac ops .40 Super Red Hawk 44 One permit left to use by end of summer and I'm eyeing a Colt Delta Elite to the wish list along with a couple of long guns. Odin 1 Posted May 25, 2012 I went to Bullseye today and added a M&P 45 to my collection of 2. Here it is with my FNP 45.
BlueLineFish 615 Posted May 25, 2012 Picked up my colt/umarex 1911 .22 today. Pics to follow. I expect the face palm from ray ray
RubberBullets 65 Posted May 25, 2012 1911.... in .22? I thought a 1911 in 9 was a quick check into a gender reassignment surgery
BlueLineFish 615 Posted May 25, 2012 Then consider my balls chopped off because in 30 days I pick up my range officer. One nut back but then most likely picking up a RIA 1911 in 9mm. Ball less again. I'm ok with that. Maybe other .22 1911 owners will get my back( Harry, Jon)
RubberBullets 65 Posted May 25, 2012 Sorry Blue.. just hard for me to be comfortable with a 1911 in anything other than .45 *add* If it works for your needs +1 thats all that counts.
BlueLineFish 615 Posted May 25, 2012 That's ok..I can take the jokes. I felt that way for a while too but I love the platform so much I want to use it for other stuff. So I can use 22 for OBRAMS and 9 mm for steel. Keeps costs down so I can buy more guns...lol
Ray Ray 3,566 Posted May 25, 2012 Sorry Blue.. just hard for me to be comfortable with a 1911 in anything other than .45 *add* If it works for your needs +1 thats all that counts. I don't mind a 1911 in 22, they are good trainers for their big brothers. And I don't mind 1911s in 9mm or 40S&W, as long as they are the shorter-frame or shorter-grip version. But if your buying a full size 1911, man up and get it in 45acp.
BlueLineFish 615 Posted May 25, 2012 I only do full size 1911. Why get anything smaller. It's not like I am going to CC it any time soon. Maybe when I retire.

I have the rail version and like it allot. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
