Picked up a Spikes Tactical AR15 lower. Don't really know what route I'm taking yet.. Definitely don't want anything "tacticool"

 

Thinking of going for a sniper rifle style too it like this one vladtepes built. Not his color scheme though. I like the OD/Black look..

This year will be slow for me, Im newlyed, with a new, non firearm addition to the family in September!

My first one for the year.

I predict four to five additions to my household: The above sample, a pocket pistol (PF-9?), a rifle and/or shotgun and a 1911.

So far this year, I've only added a Spike's Tactical stripped lower which I hope to completely build before the end of the year.

 

 

I also hope to add an M&P 15 Sport while I'm building the Spike's AR and possibly an M&P 15-22.

So far Im in for teh DTA SRS in 308 and 338LM and an HK USP Compact. Likely going to pick up a M&P compact in 357 sig too. I know, I know what the hell is the 1911 guy doing picking up crunch and tickers?!?! The answer, I can run the HK like a 1911 and the M&P is for the wife to shoot.

I can take the XDm, I can stomach the PPQ, but the M&P is yuck. Stick with the 1911/glock platforms and your set.

Ray Id take an M&P over a Glock ANY DAY!!! Its not even a matter of liking one brand better than the other. Its simply the natural point of aim of a glock for me is about 6 feet over the target due to the grip angle. The S&W points much more naturaly, for me anyway.

Just from handling I feel target acquisition is a lot faster. I av yet o shoot o I will reserve full judgement until then.
