Well, its official. Saw a big black bear run across 206 last night.. I have to get out the bruin-proof gargage cans.

I didn't take a picture but I suspect one bite and he got a good whiff of the Ammonia all over the inside and decided to dine elsewhere.

 

I haven't seen one yet, but with this weather, they are certainly out and about.

Kev- You get the bear mase if you want but you don't need it. Just use your "Big Boy" voice and swing your arms alot and you are the bear deterent.

Well I got my 170lb 3 year old female this year with a 50 cal. CVA black powder rifle at about 40 yds. I hit the spine took out her back legs I dont know how far I would have had to chase her if it wasnt for the lucky shot. They are one strong tough animal!

A bear caused a great traffic disruption rite here at exit 8 on the NJTP. they are all over NJ. I have personally seen one in east windsor
