Ammo Prices rising?

Has anyone noticed the increase in ammunition prices in just the past several weeks? Seems like a 30%+ increase! All calibers?

Reloading components seem to be the same except primers are a little more. But yeah that's a little different from factory ammo.

 

I still see reasonable prices here and there online. Not a steal but not 30% increase either.

I only purchase 9mm,.38 and .357 and have not seen a significant increase in prices. I will say that 9mm is up about $1.00/50 for standard target ammo since I started shooting 2 years ago but buying in bulk usually cancels that bump out.

Yeah, The Great Ammo Panic of 2013 started in 2012, actually. Things have gone up a little, and the decent cheap ammo (Golden Tiger iz the shizzozio in the SKSznit, Agila 45 & 9, PMC .223) is out of stock, so the alternatives are the higher priced stuff, if you gotta have ammo. I had a small buy just the other day, .223 backordered of course, and the rest was about 10-20% more.

Rising and unavailable. Ammunition to Go used to have pages and pages of 9mm FMJ ammo, now they are down to just 4 selections and it's all frangible ammo. JHPs are still available there though.

I bought 700 rounds of FMJ 9mm December 21st for 11.99 per box. Haven seen it since for under $15.99. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places?

I stopped buying factory 6 years ago when I learned to reload. I could care less about factory ammo cost!

I saw on the business news this morning that the price of copper is expected to increase this year. So, buy whatever is not panic priced sooner rather than later.

You're lucky if there is ammo to buy.

 

Stock is low or gone at most site except for the expensive stuff.

Going up at wholesale too. I bought another 1K 50gr TSX bullets to load seeing as I have over 300lbs of processed .223 brass just sitting there, looking for fresh primers, powder and projos.
