WVisHome 0 Posted January 24, 2013 I would immediately ask for proof that the firearms on this list are used extensively in crimes.

voyager9 3,439 Posted January 24, 2013 At least there is a list.. and it's not one of those "You have to pass it to see what's in it"..
Nikos 31 Posted January 24, 2013 Don't all these stupid people understand that criminals will still get these guns on the streets, even if a ban is enacted? Stop it! Common sense and the truth will not be tolerated.
jamesbod 0 Posted January 24, 2013 is this another 10 year ban? 100 years?

johnp 45 Posted January 24, 2013 Or she just hoping to get those scary "assault weapons" banned first; then when gun murders continue (due almost exclusively to illegal guns), she will come back to ban handguns? Obviously that is the strategy all along. Use the latest tragedy as fuel for the political fire. Ban evil baby killing assault rifles. Six months later violent crime and murder rates will stay the same and then they will say we have to ban assault pistols. Every pro-gunner who made the argument rifles only account for 3% of gun crimes, handguns are the majority weapon of choice for gun crimes, have given the libs all the info they need. To start the ban handgun propaganda.

dgstinner 11 Posted January 24, 2013 I wish I could find a Saiga 7.62x39 and Saiga 12 now so they'd be grandfathered in if this abomination passes.
HODGIE 3 Posted January 24, 2013 Make sure to sign this and let them know they can go to hell! http://www.nagr.org/FeinsteinGunBan_Petition.aspx?pid=c
Tosser 61 Posted January 24, 2013 According to this link: http://s3.documentcloud.org/documents/561603/feinstein-automatic-weapons-ban-2013-summary.pdf All Glocks would be banned. There is a full auto type of that pistol. Serialization on all mags over 10 rounds. This is such a crock of shit.
MarkWVU02 47 Posted January 24, 2013 I wish I could find a Saiga 7.62x39 and Saiga 12 now so they'd be grandfathered in if this abomination passes. That's if they grandfather. I'm glad I picked up my Saiga 7.62 though.
ruger9 0 Posted January 24, 2013 No Mini-30. Woohoo! (so, will the "substantially similar" clause still get me?)
emt1231 0 Posted January 24, 2013 According to this link: http://s3.documentcl...013-summary.pdf All Glocks would be banned. There is a full auto type of that pistol. I think that would only ban a semi automatic type of the glock 18... if they make one that I have never heard of. Glock itself is not listed under the list of banned pistols. BigHayden 77 Posted January 24, 2013 A couple observations: The Remington R-15 is on that list and it's a camo hunting gun. The Glock 18 is a full auto version of the Glock 17. Not the other way around. (BTW, NJ law says the same thing about semi-auto version of a full-auto firearm) It would ban "Olympic Arms" firearms completely; it doesn't name a specific model like it does for some other manufacturers. And all semi-auto Thompsons? Really??? And why have specifically named firearms if there is a features test as a catch all?
Big Jay 0 Posted January 24, 2013 That's if they grandfather. HUGE if lol. That would be unprecedented. Even individuals can own automatic weapons with the correct license. Banning without grandfathering? I am joining the south in the civil war LOL. They have WAY more guns and will be MAJORLY pissed.
Pythagoras 2 Posted January 25, 2013 I have to echo: Why the Beretta Cx4 Storm? Seriously, WTF? It's just a big pistol! *headdesk*
