15 round magazine scarcity

Does anyone know of any places with HK P30 9mm mags in stock? I have searched high and low, no luck.... I really hate to spend $90+ /mag on gunbroker.

 

Do you think the gun manufacturers are waiting to see the outcome of the federal government's push to limit magazine capacities before they produce more?

Good luck, P30 mags have been sorta hard to come by for a long time. All the LGS by me usually never even had P30 mags in stock

I would get the part number and ask a local dealer.

 

Second choice would be to call HK direct and ask. They are good people.

 

Lastly, go out to a local gun show. Ed's gun shop is usually there and has plenty of magazines.

Did you try CDNN? I don't see them on their site, but it doesn't hurt to call. Got 3 USP 9mm 15 round mags from them last weekend.

I was on the phone with S&W yesterday.. and they just can't keep up with demand... I know this isn't the item you are looking for, but S&W is producing the M&P 9mm 15 round mag still, just a 3 month backorder... I went ahead and ordered a few and will just deal with the wait.. don't even see any on gunbroker now... I don't have my M&P9 yet but hopefully will find one of those somewhere by the time the magazines arrive... its like a part-time job trying to find stuff right now!

HK is supposed to have some in stock @$40/mag in the near future. No actual date was given though. Outside of that, you're paying $100 per.

My thoughts, order direct and forget you ordered them. If you find elsewhere in the mean time, grab them too. I don't think you would have any trouble selling off what you don't need in this market.
