AS350Driver 56 Posted March 15, 2013 Yeah I know all that stuff, but I just love to hear Ray hatin on USPSA. The truth is he's scared to shoot USPSA, and he'll think of any excuse not to shoot it. Love ya Ray!
M4BGRINGO 139 Posted March 15, 2013 I proudly carry my USPSA Membership card displaying my awesomeness in Revolver Shooting, Classified a SOLID D! I'll try IDPA sometime. Betcha I get more procedurals than anyone else!
NickC 23 Posted March 15, 2013 In IDPA, you allowed to Bedazzle the cover garments? Just curious.

Smokin .50 1,907 Posted March 15, 2013 You can "be bedazzled", or you can play it "REAL". Instead of a Quick-Draw McGraw official Tactikool Cover Garment with a huge amount of room for movement, I just use an older Sports Coat. My times are generally quite decent and I get lots of Down-Zeros, although I have been known to shoot targets "out-of-order", load a mag in the open, etc. But my scores net-out decent-enough to place high in my division. My biggest issue is leaving a threat just around the corner/wall. It's possible "in real life" to have a Perp grab for your gun while you're taking-out another threat 5-10 yards away, so I train both ways. In USPSA I almost never put my gun THROUGH a port. I usually shoot from behind the port so BG can't grab gun...... With either, it's just a Game, and more often than not, SMOOTH IS FAST! Dave
alec.mc 180 Posted March 15, 2013 During Z day I'll be wearing my speedy competition stuff, not a pancake holster and 3 moonclips in the least accessible spot. Love
