JohnnyB 4,326 Posted May 14, 2016 I sold all of my guns with the exception of my Marlin bolt action, single shot .22 rifle. I took it out to the range today and had a ball!

SIGMan Freud 93 Posted May 30, 2016 FNX-45 Tactical w/RMR and Wilson Combat X-TAC 9mm, both brand new. 250 rounds across 9 magazines and not a single failure. I shot like crap, though.
MidwestPX 172 Posted June 5, 2016 I took a week long vacation to travel to the PNW and shoot long range with some old friends who were also my first customers nearly ten years ago. A: 1,450 yards B: 350 yards C: 600 yards D: 450 yards E: 700 yards We also had a target (not pictured at 250 yards). The panoramic stitch job by my phone was okay but not great. I was shooting gas guns and even as close as 600 yards, there was a noticeable difference between the 6.5C and .223. I suppose the gusting 30mph winds had a hand in that. We had a constant crosswind of about 10-15mph which wasn't too terrible to fight but those gusts were a killer. 6.5C load was a 130gr Berger Hybrid loaded to 2.850" (hence the use of KAC mags) over Hybrid 100V clocking in at 2,700fps out of my 20" barrel. I will likely turn this load down a bit as I ended up culling 20 pieces of brass due to primer pockets loosening. The .223 load was a 75gr Hornady HPBT loaded to 2.25" over IMR 8208 XBR which comes out screaming at 2,900fps out of my 18" barrel. The aftermath of shooting in high wind with talcum powder-like dust. I actually ran into a new-to-me failure with these guns. The dust was so fine, it worked itself into the firing pin channel of the large frame AR and seized the firing pin. I could chamber a round and not dimple the primer. I could pull the trigger and it wouldn't budge the firing pin. I had to strip it down and clean out the bore as best I could (which really involved squirting it with lube, cursing at it, and shaking around) to get the rifle running again. I ran both of my guns with suppressors. There was another 6.5C gas gun on the line so we pulled the Harvester off of mine and put it on his to check POI shift. I shot first and was pleased to find basically zero POI shift at 250 yards. The other 6.5C was shot and replicated my results. We took them out a little further and at a 600, found a .1-.2 mil shift which really isn't terrible. Actually quite good, really. Guns on the line. The shooter is engaging that 1,450 yard target with a Barrett M82A1. The funny part was using a low powered BSA scope on the Barrett. Coupled with ball ammo, none of us expected to get close but we had a few guys within a couple feet of the 0.8MOA target. The ballistic app I use proved to be rather useful since none of us had dope for the it but I was able to load a similar cartridge in the app and guesstimate the muzzle velocity. I also used this trip as an excuse to pick up a new Sig Kilo rangefinder. It met every expectation and I think it's the best deal going for rangefinders given the pricepoint, accuracy, and features. It's not quite as accurate as a Terrapin and I wish it had a tripod mount but otherwise, given a street price of around $500, it's hard to beat. Not pictured but heavily used was a 9mm SMG AR. Shooting 147gr bullets at subsonic speed, one of the shooters was able to walk rounds in on the 350 yard target. He was holding about 12' high and 8' to the right...
MidwestPX 172 Posted July 15, 2016 Zeroing some rifles and confirming zeroes on others. I have a three day carbine class coming up with Sentinel Concepts and the two 10.5" .223 SBRs on the right will be my primary and backup rifles. I want to run the one with the CMR handguard as the primary to shake it out and see how well it performs as it's a parts gun that I assembled. I know how well the LMT on the right runs as it's had over 20K rounds through it, mostly in classes over the last five years. Not pictured: SCAR 17 that I changed from a 100 yard zero to a 50 yard zero as the 50 yard zero of a 155gr AMAX at 2700fps is closer to the BDC calibration of the ACOG than the 100 yard zero. Last time he threw all the pins out. He said I can have as many as I can take. I plan on taking a truck load LOL

Purple Patrick 638 Posted July 18, 2016 Let me know when Adam. I can bring a truck/van if we need it. To contribute to the thread I most recently brought my benelli supernova to the shotgun shoot and my 10/22 kryptec takedown after to the 22 range this signature exceeds the 15 character capacity count
