So far all I have is this guy, an EEA Corp (Zasatava) EZ 40 in .40 s&w. It only has abour 150 shots through it, without any problems at all. I also have a permit pending and when that comes in I will be picking up a Taurus m44 (stainless steel, 44 mag, 6.5 inch barrell revolver) which will be my deer hunting pistol.

Its duracoated.

If you're ever up this way......I've always got plenty of ammo for all my guns.

I only have one requirement. Any man that shoots my XD must be photographed! LOL

Just may have to take you up on that. How hard was it to duracoat it? do it yourself? how long did it take?

I had it done by a local guy up here. He's dura coat certified. It was the first time he's ever done a color like that.

I got it back in 4 or 5 days.

Being that its an "electric" color, the gun had to be whited first, then baked. Then after the color was applied, baked again. It cost $225.00, whole gun and 4 mags.

 

If you and the g/f are ever up this way, she can most definitely give it a go. I guarantee she'll love it! Its really an awesome fun gun.

 

Just beware! I might very well put the AR in her hands too. :mrgreen:

brother has a compact xd 45gap. hasnt shot it in like 3 years, and maybe 250 rounds through it total.... most of which by me.

I haven't met an XD that I didn't like. However, I've yet to try the XDM. Hopefully someone will have one at one of the group shoots.

No reloading. I'm not that crafty. LOL Besides the equipment required for reloading is just way to complicated for me. I can't see the necessity for me being that I can buy anything here in PA or have anything I want shipped right to my door.

How to do you like the px4 storm vs the 92fs? the px4 looks like a video game gun. =P any guns you shoot more than others?

 

I like the 92 in terms of recoil but my Px4 fits my hand perfectly. I also own a Cx4 that takes the Px4 mags and there a great combo. The XD 45 is my favorite. It will sit on my nightstand with a Streamlight TR1 light. I'm real good with it and I love the 45 acp round.
