I agree with that. If you look at absolute numbers of this virus versus our seasonal flu in infections, deaths, etc., there's no comparison, yet the emotional responses to the WuFlu are unreal. Our Flu number exceed this by 10x+ easily, yet, the country's business goes on as usual, without a single quarantine.
And this is one of my biggest pet peeves, the emotional responses to hype issues (just like new gun laws). The emotional reactions DON'T match the real threat, but have long lasting (negative) effects.
This is true, lack of honest reporting from China made this a lot worse.
Like it being engineered and coming from a biolab and not from bats in the wet market?
@Scorpio64 says that because he wants your help finishing his kitchen. He kinda has to.
@gleninjersey I don’t know what he’s referring to...sounds like sex to me.
@DirtyDigz his GF likes it, on the other hand, she likes him too...no accounting for taste.
Along that topic, Trump is having a news conference at 6PM about the WuFlu status. It appears he's pissed at the CDC for invoking panic and hype towards the virus. His beloved stock market took a hit because of it. If the market tanks between now and November, that's one of his "sales pitches" towards re-election.
