gunforhire 826 Posted June 12, 2009 Hello Everyone, Thank you for being a part of the growing Gun For Hire family. We have had some major developments. We have been banned by Six Flags, banned by Disney World, and banned by Facebook. The world is really starting to "change" my friends! One of our students nine year old son was not allowed to enter Six Flags N.J. for wearing a Gun For Hire logo shirt, his mom was told "it promoted violence". One of our adult male students was not allowed to enter Disney World wearing a Gun For Hire logo golf shirt, he was told "it was not family friendly". Gun For Hire advertised a FREE safety and shooting event for the modern sporter rifle on Facebook and our account was permanently disabled. We were told by the Facebook brass that "it was in violation of their anti gun policy". As most of you know Gun For Hire does not promote violence and we are family friendly. Our school was started to teach and promote the safe and positive aspects of firearm ownership. Please help support us by spreading the word and continuing to fight the good fight! Maksim 1,504 Posted June 12, 2009 You can rest assured you will not be banned here for supporting firearms. =) On a sidenote, I remember even 10 years ago, anything with a firearm on it was not allowed at six flags, not even shirts that had curse words typed backwords, ie FCUK, or anything else like that.... worst part, FCUK is the label for French Connection clothing. ois vai. djg0770 481 Posted June 13, 2009 HMM, that gives me an idea for the Hannity Freedom Concert. I think 3-4 people each with a portion of a large revolver on their shirt, indistiguishable from anything else when the walk into the park apart from each other, but when the 4 people stand together... I'd buy a shirt that says: GL for and I'll get the wife to wear one that says _l N hire Yes - I AM a trouble maker
Dewhitewolf 8 Posted June 13, 2009 Sorry to hear about that. This is why I feel I have to keep a low profile about my enthusiasm for firearms. While I would say that it's typical New Jersey, both Facebook and Disney World have nothing to do with NJ at all. So apparently the anti-gun "virus" is spreading. Chad 3 Posted June 13, 2009 Unreal. This is a perfect example how the word "gun" is viewed. Gun for hire is promoting safety, and everyone just assumes its about violence. :x :x :x
tbtrout 141 Posted June 13, 2009 Well I will not be visiting 6 flags anytime soon and will send an email telling them why. They are private and can do as they please, but so can a free citizen.
PK90 3,573 Posted June 13, 2009 FYI, since Six Flaggs first opened, they have not allowed LEO to carry firearms into the park. The owners/operators/managers must have been well-bred in liberalism, as it usually takes a few years once one occupies NJ to become a staunch Anti. DirtyDigz 1,812 Posted June 13, 2009 Sounds like it is time to create gunbook.com, the social networking site for gun enthusiasts! In adversity there is opportunity.

Urban Grunt 44 Posted June 15, 2009 Freedom of speech in NJ....................."Nj will tell you what to say" and then tax you for it.
rscalzo 3 Posted June 15, 2009 This is BS what ever happened to freedom of speech? The First amendment has limitations on private property. One of the landmark cases in this area evolved out of a case started in Secaucus years back involving a mall type setting. Bottom line comes down to their property, their rules. BCeagle 12 Posted August 3, 2009 That is such BS. I am glad I read this when I did, we have family coming from Italy this week and were going to take them to Six Flags. Oh well, Dorney Park here we come. I wonder if they would say anything about an NRA shirt?
tony357 386 Posted August 3, 2009 and they also use to do the scene out of lethal weapon when the boats were in the fire fight.
