robot_hell 72 Posted March 20, 2011 Sunday April 3rd 17 yes 8 maybe If everyone who is a maybe shows up, we will need 7 carts @ $126 I'm guessing we'll get 20 people so I booked 5 golf carts for 10:30am That should be enough time for a Cabela's trip for those who want to go, and early enough so that the wifeys won't be upset. RecessedFilter 222 Posted March 21, 2011 Wow, pretty big list! Sounds cool though, I will be looking forward to meeting more forum members. I will make sure to save some boxes of pink shells for this event haha. Hey, if anyone wants to carpool with me (ie - j0n, Mr. P, Glenn, as I know you live right near me), let me know. I live outside of Flemington, NJ. I have a hatchback and all my gear takes up one of the backseats so I could definitely take one person and possibly two if we can fit them. Mr.Shoot_It_All 13 Posted March 26, 2011 Question what is the setup like. Never been to a true sporting clay place will my o/u bee cool or will more than two consecutive shots be necessary ?
Maksim 1,504 Posted March 26, 2011 O/u, we usually shoot the clays one at a time, unless you are mad pro like Glenn.
kenw 293 Posted March 26, 2011 o/u is ideal. Nothing more than singles or doubles on a single pull.
bry@n 195 Posted March 27, 2011 I regret to say that me and my rifle will be unable to attend. My daughters schedule has changed and I will be chilling with the second woman in my life. Have fun guys.

Pew Pew Plates 358 Posted March 27, 2011 Question what is the setup like. Never been to a true sporting clay place will my o/u bee cool or will more than two consecutive shots be necessary ? Each station you will shoot 3 report pairs, meaning you load 2 rounds and when you fire the first round, the second clay is thown. An o/u is perfect because you can have 2 different chokes

kenw 293 Posted March 29, 2011 The course is 100 rounds. I'll be bringing a couple of extra boxes, since my POS Stoeger likes to light hit on occasion. Glad to see you can make it. Should be fun, and the weather isn't looking bad.
