tommy3rd 132 Posted March 18, 2012 nice! when i looked at one at RTSP, the only issue i had was the fact that you need a tool to field strip the gun.

Gorilla800lbs 12 Posted March 18, 2012 It has everything you need and nothing you don't. No magazine disconnect, last shot hold open, slim, small, and soon to have optional magazines. I watched that "1000 rounds fired from non-lubricated Nano" video. The guy had to rack the slide after inserting a new mag. So maybe it technically stays open, but since there is no slide catch release (courtesy of "snagless design"), the end result seems to be the same? Correct, it stays open after the last round was fired. BUT, there is no external slide stop. Its internal. Great design, perfect pocket 9mm.
MarkWVU02 47 Posted March 18, 2012 Nice looking pocket pistol. How much did it run you if you don't mind me asking?

Yes - you have to rack the slide after inserting a new mag. That was the way it's designed. I'm more than ok with it. Nice looking pocket pistol. How much did it run you if you don't mind me asking? $450 from TJ's.
Krdshrk 3,878 Posted March 18, 2012 More pics - for size reference. Didn't have a pack of cards handy so I used boxes of ammo. 2 mags at 7 yards. Yeah I'm not that great a shot.
tommy3rd 132 Posted March 18, 2012 Nope - that "screw" can be turned using a mag. I did it. that's good to know. I was like "how do you fieldstrip this thing?" as we were inspecting the gun...he showed me that screw and said "hmm..i guess you need a tool. it's probably in the box." Krdshrk 3,878 Posted March 19, 2012 Shot really nicely. Video is uploading right now. Ran through with PMC 115gr FMJ, Remington Golden Saber 124gr JHP and Hornady Critical Defense 115gr FTX. All ran fine.

Krdshrk 3,878 Posted March 19, 2012 Nick that is nice looking. Are the sights metal or plastic? Are they 3 dots? Yes, Metal 3-dot sights.
henrym 19 Posted March 19, 2012 looks great! sidebar- its amazing how much less flash the critical defense had than the golden sabres.
Krdshrk 3,878 Posted March 19, 2012 Yeah that Remington Golden Saber was pretty flashy. For poops and giggles I mixed loads in a mag. PMC & Remington.

Ray Ray 3,566 Posted March 19, 2012 Nick, what magazine options do they have for that little honey?
Krdshrk 3,878 Posted March 19, 2012 Nick, what magazine options do they have for that little honey? As of right now only the standard 6 round mags with no grip extension. In the future they will have more options.

Krdshrk 3,878 Posted March 21, 2012 Don't have a Kahr PM9 to compare against. Do have these though: Px4 Storm 9mm Type F (Fullsize) & Nano Kimber Pepper Blaster II & Nano

PK90 3,573 Posted March 21, 2012 it would be cool if you can do some side by side pics, or vid at the range comparing it to another popular pocket 9mm the kahr pm9? The Beretta Nano is between the sizes of the Diamondback DB9 and the Kahr Arms PM9. Although the Nano is not added yet, you can see the size comparisons HERE.
