Whats everybody running?

 

I just ordered a small magpul rail and a 1" light mount. Right now I'm planning on putting my streamlight scorpion on there but I'm considering the streamlight polytac led light just because I figure it'll have way better battery life.

Weapon light - it's hard t beat the tlr1 or 3 in terms of price, quality and function. Flashlights - surefire, stream light, olight, fenix

..just don't spend more than 100 bucks on a friggin flashlight!

I have the TLR1 on my AR. Putting it on the left side of the rail, the switches are in a perfect position. Close enough that I just have to move my thumb to reach, but still just out of the way for proper grip. I use that to keep hands free with my rifle. I have a Surefire 6PX that I use the underhand method with my pistol.

AR15: Viking tactics light mount I got for $15 and a surefire g3 I got for $30. Would make a bad edc light, but fits the bill for a weapon light.

Here is what I did. Ordered a magpul moe rail, 1" flashlight mount and a streamlight polytec led flashlight. I'm gonna use it till I buy that surefire carbine stock with the light built in. Atleast I can still use this as a flashlight when it's not on my gun.

Those polytacs are nice - bright, small, led, and durable.

Are you 100% about needing to ultimately upgrade to the surefire? Assuming the mount you ordered is of sound quality, that setup sounds perfectly viable.

Surefire X200, X300, and X400. I think you can tell I like Surefire. Never had one cr@p out on me but its nice to know they back their products if they did.

The mount is a piece of crap. I'm sending it back today. I'm shopping for either a new mount or I may jut but a tlr. not sure which one yet

I have a Surefire Scout M600c on my mid-length. Bought it used with an additional incan head, so it was a great deal for me. Haven't gotten a chance to take out my middy, but I plan to more once I join OBRPC in June.
