Picked up some M22 bulk box today. Great ammo for a decent price.

My Buckmark pistol is pretty finicky about .22 ammo(so far it only "likes" CCI Mini-Mags). Any insight into the Winchester M22 ammo?

Winchester makes the M22. So far I haven't found any of my guns that don't like it, even my Ruger SR22P likes it.

Thanks, Don't know why I was thinking Remington

I'll have to try it out. I'm sure it'll run in the 15-22 if not. I'm going to call the store tomorrow to make sure they have it before I drive up there with all of the Christmas shopping traffic.

Is that deal on the 870 combo for $419 pretty good? Seems like it's good since it comes with the 28" barrel.

I was thinking of getting that as my first shotgun and use the 28" barrel for whenever I decide to shoot trap/skeet.

Barrels seem to be $!50-200 anyways so this looks like a good start for me.

Thoughts?

Does Dicks carry this brand?

Yes they do, I still have practically a whole 100 count box remaining because they are so smoky and dirty that I only fired 15 rounds before I stopped . My Sig also didn't like them and had a FTE every 4 rounds.

Buy 1 get 1 free 12ga shells...so $6 a box then the next one free? So technically your getting a case for $30? In that case I'll buy half a dozen cases.

I might have misread, but i think it's buy 1 get 1 at 50% off for Remington game loads and their normal price, again I think, is $6.99. Target loads are just $5.49, no bogo deal.

The game loads are buy 1, get one 50%. So that is averaged to $5.25 a box. Still a good deal IMO. Partner that with a $10 coupon and your at $45.3x out the door

Think maybe I will stop and get a case or two. Coupon is the key.

Just went shooting with someone with his Ruger SR22. Used Winchester M22 - left a huge chunk of lead in the barrel - half blocked.

Buy one get one 50% off, not free..... Reading is key..
