Everybody got used to not much artillery training during the Iraq war, when the NJNG artillery units were made into impromptu MPs. Now they are back and due to base closings and whatnot, there is a USMCR artillery unit that fires there as well. Plus EOD, which goes on all the time. These are mostly reservists, which is why this takes place on weekends. The C17s fly over low practicing during the week. I ove to hear alll that stuff, I used to work over there, to me it's great. I am sure they got a bunch of angry phone calls this AM, as it was a liiitttlllle more boomy-shaky than usual, at about 7:30-8AM

Its the drones, they are taking out the people that didnt use clean, crisp, white paper, to complain about further gun restrictions to their elected officials. They also have a list of whos been impolite on this site, I fear their next.

I'm in freehold, and heard it as well this morning. House shook a bit. I was at Allaire state park when they were testing in October. That was insane.

Yeah... I'm right next to it in Browns Mills. I knew it was EOD training and didn't think twice about it. However, my youngest son (who HATES thunderstorms) didnt think it was cool at all.

That is all army/marines, AF isn't flying this weekend, also you won't hear any sonic booms, their are restrictions about doing those over civilian populations.
