Shawnmoore81 623 Posted November 21, 2013 I've decided I need one and if my wife is getting a new gun so am I. I plan on ordering a 1911 as soon as the overtime I'm starting is over. Looking like I'm going with this. Sig sauer 1911 tacops.
checko 180 Posted November 21, 2013 Nice looking gun. When I was looking for my first gun I looked at the sig 1911's. I didnt like the feel of grip safety then, but I think I may have a second look at them. I would like a 1911 with a rail.
SgtToadette 59 Posted November 21, 2013 I hated the way the Sig 1911 slide looked, but I can say for sure that it only photographs terribly. Looks so much better in person.

JayWilling 33 Posted November 21, 2013 I've got a Sig. It's my favorite handgun.
Tunaman 549 Posted November 21, 2013 Compare the features of the Sig to others and you WILL buy one. I love mine.
FLHX 1 Posted November 21, 2013 I have one of the Traditional Two-tone match Elite models and I love it also. I have never had a single issues with it. I also thought all the prices on Sig1911's were very good.

Shawnmoore81 623 Posted November 23, 2013 I can see I probably won't be set till I click "order" I like em all Sigs Colts The colt Wiley is numbered 1-999 so I might not want to shoot it. Also considering the 100th anniversary colt 1911. Or a stainless model. Too many choices. I need one to put away and one to shoot. Shawnmoore81 623 Posted November 25, 2013 This smith and Wesson is also an option but I'm not leaning towards it. Kimber also is on my radar.
High Exposure 5,664 Posted November 25, 2013 If you plan on running this gun hard and putting a lot of rounds through it don't get the Kimber. I have seen too many of them self-disassemble on the firing line in medium to high round count classes where the guns needed to be run hard.
MidwestPX 172 Posted November 25, 2013 How has STI not been mentioned yet?! My Spartan is probably my favorite pistol to shoot. Springfield is also catching up on their production of Range Officers, another well-built 1911 that won't break the bank.
