Shipping Motorcycle - York, PA to Bergen County NJ

I am buying a motorcycle , from a dealer in York, PA.  Its about 200 miles each way from where I am (Bergen County).

Anyone driving or know someone who can bring the Motorcycle ?  I will pay something reasonable.

Thanks to all who offered to help. Luckly I got one for better price local in central jersey.

I drove it from Bridgewater over 78 and GSP, in Friday traffic. Loved it.

 

Lesson(s) learned:

 

1. Think twice about picking up the bike on cold(er) day

2. Riding MC makes you experience wind chill like never before. I almost froze to death on the ride at 55-65 mph

3. Dress properly for the ride

4. Loose fit jackets makes you almost fly out of the bike :-)

5. Proper gloves are VERY important

6. Remember the MSF lessons and apply accordingly

Layers, layers, layers....for cold weather I wear Under Armour bottoms, jeans, riding pants and chaps if it's really cold along with t-shirt, UA top, sweatshirt, and riding jacket. I also have a set of heavy riding gloves that I wear thinsulate liners with. Top it all off with a long balaclava and full face helmet. I have to keep moving or I'll sweat to death in 30* weather.

you haven't lived until you've not only fogged up your helmet but fogged your glasses, opened the visor and froze the condensation to the latter... while moving!

 

Also...

 

 

I may have sold the bike but I still have the trailer and Condor mount... in case anyone needs a transport done.
