Silence Dogood 468 Posted March 26, 2018 See above - A2761 passed along party lines. Get the lawyers cued up for injunction.
argetni 4 Posted March 26, 2018 So it looks like reading the PDF we can keep the 15s and block them to 10 "legally", the question is how. Perhaps PK90 can offer a service, help some behind enemy lines and make some $$$.

PK90 3,570 Posted March 26, 2018 Sorry. I won't be doing 10 rounders. These can be bought directly from most manufacturers. After 15 years, that ship has sailed. If you haven't noticed, I have been moving away from doing conversions to strictly selling retail locally. Local business has been booming.

If should have already been possible to make existing mags compliant. Was “hoping” it was at least grandfathering. That would have been their smart move too since it would avoid the injunction path CA hit.

I already have everything in a separate Family Limited Partnership. They were designed to avoid the IRS. I am sure the State of NJ won't be able to circumvent it either. Unfortunately for others Family Limited Partnerships are only grandfathered in today. We need to be working with SAF and GOA. Why is it I never hear about either of them in NJ?Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

Just like people say sue over the Moms having signs suing over bad laws they pass. So what? What happens to them? NOTHING! They don't pay. They don't get fired. They get to go on and continue to do more. No Accountability at all. Christy didn't pay for his bridge-gate lawyers. U.S. congress didn't pay for the sex scandal settlements. We paid for it as we pay for everything and they walk. They don't care and don't have to care. Loyd's of London has them covered.
JimB1 555 Posted March 26, 2018 Reality is we needed 10x the amount of people that showed up to even make them think twice about their voting habits. My rough estimate is about 1200 - 1400 people showed up. Not nearly enough... We need to do better. We need to do especially better at the voting booth. We have the numbers but we can’t get them all rowing the the same direction. I am almost as frustrated with gun owners in NJ as I am with the politicians -Jim

45Doll 5,877 Posted March 26, 2018 I was there and stationary most of the time. Around 11 AM I made a concerted effort to estimate the crowd size on the various locations. My guess is around 1,200. Nothing professional but I did do a lot of counting. Maybe this round of bills doesn't appear to many as the 'Sound the general alarm' occasion. But it certainly is the opening salvo. I expected to see more than that today. If there really are 1 million gun owners in NJ, then turnout today was somewhere around 0.1% But I'm beginning to think that number is bogus. Does anyone know direct from the NRA how many members are in NJ? An ANJRPC member count would be somewhat redundant, but I'd like to know that too. And I'm not looking to start an argument, but just as a factual question: what exactly did we accomplish today? I can't come up with a long list. Especially after the results of the legislative session. (And that doesn't surprise me at all.) I appreciated all the camaraderie and coaching from the professionals, but what specifically was achieved? My list is very short.
capt14k 2,052 Posted March 26, 2018 I agree with the size estimates, and it would have been 10x that on Saturday. I'm guessing today was picked because they were voting, but how did no one knows Mom's Against Action would be there? Why wasnt there an announcement and an effort to have half the rally leave early to lock them out of seats? Nothing was accomplished today that is the reality. It is time for the multiple NJ Organizations to leave their egos at the door and fold. The like a Pheonix Rise Up from The Ashes as a New Stronger Single Organization with a new Alliance. That Alliance should be SAF or GOA. I am also starting to think sometimes we need to eat our own. It happens in nature. The weak member of the pack or litter are left to die and eaten by the others. It makes the pack stronger.

And I’ll throw myself at the mercy of the forum. I couldn’t make today. In fact I can rarely make anything. Does that mean I’m not welcome? That I’m worse than a FUDD? Probably not the best strategy when trying to energize any sort of base of voters.
