    • I am thinning my collection and have decided to part with this beautiful Sako 85 Bavarian Carbine, chambered in .243 Win. Beautiful oil finished walnut with rosewood schnabel. 20" barrel, 1:10 twist. MPN JRSBC15. Iron sights, but will easily accept a scope into its dovetail mounts. Less than a year old with only 232 rounds down the pipe. 5-round aluminum magazine. Bolt is smooth as glass. Single stage trigger pull is adjustable from 2-4 lb and can also be "set" after the bolt is thrown, by pushing forward on the trigger. The hammer is then dropped with a very crisp 8 oz pull. I'm no marksman, but easily (and consistently) shot sub-MOA groups at 100 yards with a scope on the rifle. It's a tack-driver. It's as close to new as you can get and comes complete with all paperwork and box. I purchased it last year for $2,248, but it's a better rifle than I am a shooter and deserves a better home. Selling for $1799. Please contact me here if you have questions. Thanks!

    • I have the same hopes. If the law is struck down and broadly interpreted NJ gun owners may finally be able to stop at a restaurant and leave the unloaded and locked handgun in the trunk of their car while they have dinner. It would be a small win but I would take it.
    • My understanding is that if SCOTUS rules against NY it isn't the ability to transport guns per se that would benefit us, it is the fact that the decision will very likely be with the declaration that laws restricting the Second Amendment would be subject to strict scrutiny for judicial review rather than just intermediate scrutiny.   If that is the case, then it would be huge.  Every case of appeal to NJ's gun laws could potentially overturn those draconian laws we are held under.
