usnmars 136 Posted July 15, 2010 I am a WWII collector, I collect mainly anything that "talks to me." I also am in the process of restoring a '67 Chevelle SS. Here are some small pics of the collection.

usnmars 136 Posted July 15, 2010 trust me there is a ton of it. I am just offshore right now and all of those pics are on my computer at home. I get home on tuesday, so will post some pics then. Here is a pic of my original Russian PU and PE snipers. Both are 100% correct and original optics. The Russians tend to breed like rabbits though. I collect original PU scopes, but dont have pics of that collection. Right now the count is at about 15-20.

usnmars 136 Posted July 17, 2010 Thanks, It makes me really miss the days when I lived in Sicily. I got the sa dagger for 25 euro and a zippo lighter. It makes me cry when I think about all of the stuff I passed up. BMW do you know anything about helmets? The one in the pic is strange because it has a "y" chinstrap and a bunch of German names on the headliner. I think it is Austrian police, but it was picked up by an Italian friend in Sicily after the battle of Catania. Now after lookin at yall's pics, I want to get into vehicles. I am envious of the stuff you guys have.

I am envious of the stuff you guys have. It is a German M34 Helmet. It was used as a police or firemans helmet. Some of them have a neck skirt folds out of the liner. The chin strap sounds wrong. As for the name it was common to see a name written in ink on the liner or painted on the helmet brim.
