Maksim 1,504 Posted October 15, 2010 Since I love my XD in 45Gap so much.... I just had to pick up a Glock 37 since it was soooo cheap on Buds's during their glock closeout. Havent shot this one yet, however have shot the G37 before. Great accurate shooter and it will be my gun for Limited 10 USPSA. and no.... I do not believe glocks are the holy grail, or the best shooters. It was a great deal and a terrific gun in a great caliber, especially since I reload for it, and you can push a 230 grain bullet out of 45 gap.

Tom-NJ2AS 31 Posted October 15, 2010 do you buy a gun a day? Looks nice Maks. I really like the look of any gun in the desert sand or olive drab colors.

tbtrout 141 Posted October 15, 2010 What next, 38 amu? Not him, but I would love one. I can't believe you did it Maks And in the GAP to boot Oh the horror of it all.
ronhonda 86 Posted October 15, 2010 Maks, Why 45 gap? If you wanted to shoot limited 10, you should have gone with the 22 or 35 use it in limited 10, limited, and production. Easy to make major and minor. Plus all the 45 shooters are going to hate you when they pick up the gap brass.
Ray Ray 3,566 Posted October 15, 2010 You see what this forum does to you! It made an Eastern Euro AK lover into an AR and Glock carrier! Great purchase in a cool color combo.
Maksim 1,504 Posted October 18, 2010 lol. love it ray ray. will be shooting the glock tomorrow.
Maksim 1,504 Posted October 20, 2010 Shot the glock today. Loaded up some 230 grain 45 GAP loads.... was an absolutely joy to shoot, and quite accurate too. Used 5.0 grains of Winchester WSF. clean burning, soft shooting. Should be shooting right around 770 fps, easily making major power factor for uspsa. Will be shooting it most likely in the upcoming classifier match at Shongum. Will be busting out the chrono soon as I have it.
ronhonda 86 Posted October 20, 2010 Still say you should have gotten it in 40s&w
jermz1987 243 Posted October 20, 2010 Still say you should have gotten it in 40s&w He already owns an XD in 45GAP and reloads for it. Buying this one from buds at the price they have it was kind of a no brainier.
NJ609 22 Posted October 20, 2010 Glocks are excellent and that's an amazing price. Congrats!
Maksim 1,504 Posted October 20, 2010 lol. Ron. I had a glock 23 one time, the recoil was too harsh, and my hand hurt like a mofo. The G37 was more or less a novelty for me. It was either sell the XD I have in a 45 gap, or get something else in the caliber. I shot the G37 rental at BA and enjoyed it. Bud's had them dirt cheap at $379 so it was a good opportunity to pick it up. But had it been regular price, there is no reason for me to buy one. Lets be honest, it is still a block. ronhonda 86 Posted October 21, 2010 great price you got, and a block, is a block, is a block. yes the Glocks are a bit harsh in 40 and 9, but reloaded ammo for production and major is quite tame.
Maksim 1,504 Posted October 21, 2010 This should piss all the Glock lovers off. I DIDNT KNOW THEY MADE KOOL-AID IN URINE FLAVOR!!!!! If your urine is that flavor... you should probably get checked out.
Scottcba1 8 Posted October 31, 2010 Glad to see you finally took a sip of the kool aid and liked it Maks! Im very happy with my glock as well. -Scott
