Well my 30th birthday is Friday and my wife bought me a gift card for millers gun shop in del. That gift card went towards my new toy

Congrats on the buy! How muchie? What iron sights? Is that gas block the same height as the upper rail? Iron sights are so much easier to get for that height - just don't use a Magpul MBUS front - it'll melt!

$1014 for the gun out the door. Del has no sales tax or background check fee. Store is on 13 a few miles after you cross the del memorial bridge. Sights are magpul and yes they are the same height.

 

 

I think these are the sights and if they melt theyll be replacing em.

Obviously. I wasn't sure if their has been one brand that's favorable. Im working some ot to buy some parts. I'm new to the ar word. I shoot my buddy's m4 often but thus is the first one I've bought.

Well choose night vision comparable or not.

 

Then batteries, N, 123a, or AA

 

Then recticle.

Just ask yourself what you plan on using the Rifle for and go from there. Do you have access to a long distance range?

I'm a member at a club with a 100 yard range. They bought land and said they were going to stretch out to 300 yards but haven't done so yet. But for long distance I have my 30-06. Mostly I'll be messing around inside 100 yards

You'd be much more familiar with this than me, but from what I've read, magnification mostly serves for threat identification.
