  1. 1. Which one should I get?

    • Ruger LCP (380ACP)
      5
    • Beretta Nano (9mm)
      4
    • S&W Model 13 (.38SP/.357Mag)
      11

Choice is between a revolver (S&W Model 13 .357mag) or a CCW gun (LCP or Nano)... which should I go for?

I am torn between buying a CCW gun for South Carolina... and a new revolver (because even though I rarely shoot em, I love em too).

How bout a Ruger SP101 in 3" and 357 flavor..

I read the S&W 13 had a VERy heavy trigger pull.. hence the suggestion above..

I'd say 380 LCP would be next.. I miss my KelTec 32 for pocketabilty.

Why would the 13 be any heavier than any other K-frame?

I say split the difference and buy a 3" model 66 and carry it.

I said Ruger LCP because protecting yourself in a real-life situation should take priority over fun.

IMO...

I'm actually in a very similar boat.

My next gun was going to be a Ruger GP-100, but have decided to pickup an LC9 instead.

(even though we can't CCW in NJ)

I'm choosing the LC9 because it means I won't have to stock-up on additional calibers.

After the LC9, I'll definitely get the .38/.357 revolver down the road.
