Hi all, I,m new to the site. Just found it a few minutes ago and am trying to educate myself a bit more on firearms and legalities of weapons I am considering in NJ. I currently own a Ruger P89 (first gun) Glock 31, and Keltec KSG shotgun. i am in the market for a nice AR 15.

You just made a bunch of new "shootin' buddies" with that statement. Welcome to the board - and my recommendation is rent you KSG to those that want to try it - should amortize the cost in about two range sessions.

I actually would sell the KSG or trade for mid level AR 15 if anyone is interested. As far as AR's go I was thinking of a Stag Arms or Rock river left handed model.

I have no problem letting people shoot my gun if were at the range together..Here is the gun, I put a red dot sight and a magpull grip on it.

Well, this is a picture of my shoulder after shooting 40-50 rounds...

 

Other than that, it shoots great!!! I can see it having it's uses, but chances are if you need to fire more than 2 rounds of 00buck in self defense, all hell has officially broken loose...

Ouch, that's what my son's shoulder looks like after a round or two with my Remmy 870. We picked up a 20gauge semi for him to try.
