My new 1911

Well I picked this up about 2 weeks ago and finally hit the range this past weekend. Overall it shoots well. I the about 100 rounds down range and managed to keep groups that were respectable ( in my opinion).

 

Anyhow, enjoy the eye candy.

Check out your manual. It may mention a break in period. I have a Kimber and it said 250-500 which is a little ridiculous in my opinion.

But I think typically around 200 is a decent break in.

Any factory ammo should do just fine. I broke mine (Smith Pro in 9mm) in today at the knockdown steel match in old bridge. Mine had 3 failures to feed early on in the day but by the end was running great.
