Gun Control Rally in Jersey City Today

Recommended Posts

Seems there was about 200 people at a gun control rally in Jersey City today.....basically a who's who of gun control in NJ. On the plus side, we know who not to waste time on bombarding with letters, and phone calls, cause these people aint gonna change their minds.......so expect this years Governor's race to be all about gun control, and nothing else. It's the ONLY thing the Dem's have on Christie and the rest of the Republicans in this god forsaken state.

What a dupe... Weinberg doesn't realize that you need an FID to buy ammo in a local gun shop and need an FID to legally buy online.

Oliver is a brain dead zombie.. as far as appointing a committe, didn't the Democrats rejoice over Obama's gun task force headed by Biden?

And Frank Pallone is just spewing out political diarrhea. All three are standing on the graves of children telling us that we need to stand down from our rights to bear arms for the safety of the children.

Sadly, we got too many of these brain dead zombies in our senate.

Dem's love their committee's......which reminds me, what ever happened to that committee Corzine was gonna establish after signing One Gun a Month into law back in 09?

that's easy, one of the bill's sponsors N.J. Assemblyman Joseph Vas was indicted on federal corruption charges

Edit: let us not forget about other NJ famous DEMS lawmakers lawbreakers

Former N.J. Assemblyman Neil Cohen pleads guilty in child-porn case

Former state Sen. Wayne Bryant is released from prison (Key in NJ first AWB)

I bet you they could muster quite a few thugs of the street that would like to work in "safer" neighborhood and would surely call for gun control.

It's a "given" that Christie can't appear to be against the 2A and still make his way onto the Republican ticket in 2016 so that's an obvious line of attack. Cory Booker's response suggests that it isn't likely to be successful.

From today's paper:

"Cory Booker, once firm on firearms, now gun-shy about weapons ban" -->

200 doesn't seem a huge turnout. How many of the 200 were Democrat politicians and reporters?

"If you can ban a big gulp you can ban a big gun" sign was epic.

Don't they realize that logic is working against them? The Government took away one freedom so it's ok to take away another? Besides, the constitution doesn't give you the right to keep and bear big gulps. Arms on the other hand...

Just a little off topic, but was that a fur Sheila Oliver has on? Maybe PETA would be interested in it!

interesting point, and since she's a politician I'm sure it's real. Jerk off

Meanwhile, in Washington DC, yesterday...

Nearly 1,000 people, including residents of Newtown, Conn. — where 26 people were killed Dec. 14 at an elementary school — call for tougher firearms legislation.

So the "Million Mom March" in DC was 999,000 moms short of its goal?

That's PATHETIC!

Speaking of the 500 soccer-mom march...

I got such a kick out of this video. Skip to 4:00 if you just wanna see Adam Kokesh PISS OFF some under-educated soccer-moms. He's brilliant.

Shiela Oliver is just a loud mouth.. I guess she does not realize the trapper who trapped the animals to make her fur coat carries a gun for protection and encase the animal is still alive in his traps..

Her son was found shot in the head in his car, sounds like a drug problem to me and not a gun problem!!!

So, when the hell is our DC rally? I'm betting we could get closer to that million than they could. Hell, I'd make that trip.

Actually, I think it is an awesome parallel. They banned the big gulp, and it has no practical effect other than to have people buy multiples until they have the quantity they want. Their efforts at gun control to effect change in the behavior of an individual is equally pointless.

Sure.. we can always say that cup limits don't work.. that in an active buffet scenario the attack would just carry multiple cups. The Anti's will claim that this is fear mongering by Big Soda. Obviously if the eater had to carry multiple sodas there is more chance they could be bum-rushed by the crowd when they go to switch straws.
