the rpd was a jamming pos when i got it ! took some time with cleaning and polishing ,, now its good shooter, the 1919 runs like a top ! when there is a jamb its because of lack of maintenance.

Gotta agree with everyone else and say M1 Garand.

 

I love that, due to a lack pistol grip and detachable magazine, having a Garand doesn't make you look "sinister".

Looks good but felt terrible in my hands. I had one in 9mm and got rid of it. It didn't know what it wanted to be and did a mediocre job of being those things. I switched to a cx4 storm.
