Hops 0 Posted October 28, 2013 Stage 1 looks so much easier the way you shoot it...
FLHX 1 Posted October 28, 2013 I don't think that the designer intended the stage to be shot that way. I guess on the other hand you can shoot it anyway you want as long as the stage description doesn't say no.
2Alpha 6 Posted October 28, 2013 One 4' fault line would have prevented that. I figured it was left out inorder to give shooters the option of shooting from the bridge or shooting strong hand

I guess on the other hand you can shoot it anyway you want as long as the stage description doesn't say no. That's part of the challenge of stage design, and also the appeal of USPSA. They really don't want the stage to be shot only one way. IDPA, yes, to an extent, but not so with USPSA.
FLHX 1 Posted October 28, 2013 I give you credit 2Alpha as I never thought of doing this and everyone else in my squad shot from the bridge. Your way made it a lot easier and if you would of shot before me I would of shot it the same way you did!! I always have a problem with breaking down the stages and then when I think I got it right when I shoot my plan goes out the window. This is one of my biggest problems with shooting my planning is terrible and when the timer goes off it all goes out the window. I hope that comes with experience as I haven't been shooting all that long. I do most times follow my plan as bad as it usually is!!
AdamM 42 Posted October 28, 2013 That is strange because our squad discussed shooting from around the bridge (instead of on it) and someone read the paper and told us that at least 1 shot had to be taken from it. Go figure?!?!?

Just ask a more experienced shooter what they are doing and why and then copy it. eventually you will figure out what works for you
