F.P.I.D.: This has been bothering me for a while now...

Recommended Posts

Maybe it's that my professional life contains a lot of misued acronyms and terms, or perhaps it's my O.C.D., but can we all try to correctly use the term F.P.I.D. instead of F.I.D? According to the N.J. State Police website, the document is called a "Firearms Purchaser Identification Card," not a "Firearms Identification card." http://www.njsp.org/info/pdf/firearms/sts-033.pdf

If we're expecting the "others" to be accurate with their terminology (like saying "automatic" instead of "semi-automatic," then I feel that we should be as accurate and consistant as possible.

I'll state the obvious: PTPSMFN

Anyone who successfully decodes the above gets my entire supply of Hoppe's #9.

Where's that pharmacy bottle?

Permit To Purchase my Fabrique Nationale.

Sorry, already have FNs and I don't need more.

And yes, it's MF'ing nonsense. But not in the way you mean it.

Many (but not all) will agree with me when I reveal.

You know, when you live within the confines of an asylum state , you must make an effort to laugh once in a while. Or go insane.

There.... I'm insane.

Im OCD about seeing:

Marshall Law

And

"could of" instead of "could have".. "I could of bought more ammo..". Ughhhh

But alas. Auto correct perpetuates it more I guess.

You could of if Marshall Law was still around. I could care less.

L.M.F.G.D.A.O. at all you punchewashun fags.
