Very cool. My mom used to crochet and all the kids in my family have come home in blanket made by someone in the family. She kno wlonger does it because she has issues but it's nice to see a younger generation doing this.

She has a few other patterns that were chosen but for different publications.

 

What is interesting is that that hat combines knitting and crochet, and knitting is not her specialty but still damn proud of how good it came out.

On a side note... if there is enough interest, I can have her look into making gun cozy's which are fitted for particular models, with or without zipper/buttons, and felted or not.
