Babyface Finster 45 Posted April 7, 2011 Hi everyone: Just signed up, I'm in Wharton. I've wanted to become a gun owner for many years now, but always got discouraged by the hassles involved. Now in my middle age, I've decided that I'm not getting any younger so I need to get my butt in gear and get started. I'll do some reading up here to try to reduce the number of dopey questions I'll be asking shortly. I'm looking to initially purchase a shotgun, a .22 rifle and a handgun or two. I don't know all that much abour guns but am eager to learn.

Wojo 98 Posted April 7, 2011 Hey Finster-baby. BTW, that was one of the greatest episodes of Bugs Bunny. Many classic one-liners are coming back to me. "How many times have I told you NOT to play with that dirty money" during the spanking and all the weapons falling out. Classic.

Col. Mortimer 11 Posted April 11, 2011 Welcome fellow geeser. You should take the NRA Basic Pistol class. It is very informative and you get to shoot lots of different guns. By the way, stop crying - it only 99 years.
Babyface Finster 45 Posted April 14, 2011 Welcome fellow geeser. You should take the NRA Basic Pistol class. It is very informative and you get to shoot lots of different guns. By the way, stop crying - it only 99 years. I'm planning on taking the class, but would prefer to have my own gun when I do. Would be nice to try out other things, but I really want instruction on the gun I'll be taking to the range on weekends.
