Hello from up north in Morris

New to the forum obviously. Been trolling through sections for the past month or two while I was waiting on my hand gun permit and Firearm card. I'll be in the market for a 9mm handgun and should have one by the weekend after testing a few options out and supporting a local B&M. Gathered some great info on here.

Welcome - also from Morris County. We have Cherry Ridge and I drive down to Bullet Hole in Belleville. Sometimes we have a meet at CR.

Don't forget Riverdale and Shongum. It would be nice if there was a range closer but that's the 'burbs. So what 9mm are you going to get?

Not sure. I am unbiased to them all, so I will be going down to Shore Shot on friday and sampling a few. Leaving with whichever I find suits the best for me. Looking for mostly a range gun and the rare, but hopefully never, chance I need it for home defense. Don't need anything compact either as I won't ever be carrying the gun so...
