Col. Mortimer 11 Posted February 17, 2012 They are a terrorist organization because they know their radio commercials are completely obnoxious but they keep running them. I understand the concept. I can see some slimily; greasily slug of an advertising executive selling the ad to Kars for Kids “These ads will be so painfully annoying that they will get people’s attention.” Yes, I remember the ads, like I remember my most painful visit to the dentist. I hate Kars for Kids. I hate the people that work there. I hate the people that sing the jingle. And thanks to this ad, I hate kids. The only upside is my reflexes are now lightning fast. As soon as I recognize the beginning of the ad, my hand darts for the off button on the radio. I wish horrible things on everything connected with Kars for Kids.
lunker 274 Posted February 17, 2012 I liked the older commercial with the Johnny Cash soundalike better than the new up-tempo one. That one is brutal.

Col. Mortimer 11 Posted February 17, 2012 I liked the older commercial with the Johnny Cash soundalike better than the new up-tempo one. That one is brutal. I loath both of them. I pretend to shoot the radio as I hit the off button. I want to have the commercial playing on a radio as I shoot it many times.
woodentoe 14 Posted February 17, 2012 I called them for my junker when I got my new car. When you call, the hold music is that insufferable jingle. But the best was the tow truck driver who came for my car who told me, "God, I hate that f***ing song." LOL

Dude, you seem to have some anger issues. Maybe you need to talk to a professional. You remind me of the cry babies that used to complain about Howard Stern because he talked about women and farting. Perhaps you should invest in XM radio then NJ can have one less road enraged driver on the road. Because of people like yourself I am glad that we are not allowed to carry our guns. P.S. Cut down on the coffee!!!

You should really think before you hit the post button. You just embarrassed yourself on a public board by posting a ridiculous statement. If you want to put your brain to work then take the LSAT and get into law school and run for office....until you do then you need to grown up or move. I vote for you to move. And if you think saying that you are glad we can't exercise our second amendment rights in this state is a way to make friends on a gun forum, then you are a good candidate for remedial civics and some common sense.

greatgunstatenj 32 Posted February 17, 2012 I've heard the whole Kars for Kids is 80% scam. They take the cars, sell them overseas for big bucks and give like 10% to charity. I heard that from someone who did work with them, I didn't fact check it so basically I'm just spreading gossip but hey, it's the internet!

Once you got past the provocative thread title (which obviously piqued all of our interest) was there anything in what the OP wrote that led you to believe he hates children? To me, and probably to the folks who piled on your reputation score, it is obvious that his tongue was planted firmly in his cheek. Read "A Modest Proposal" sometime. You will be outraged. Malice4you 627 Posted February 17, 2012 Thankfully i have never heard this commercial... Every few months, I give radio another chance. I switch off my mp3s and try my "favorite" station. it is usually crap or a commercial, so i move on to another station. same thing happens. I try one more station, same thing... I give up and go back to my mp3s.

hd2000fxdl 422 Posted February 17, 2012 Dude you are so "Bravado", I hope I can be as cool as you one day. Dino, I know you, but you may be taking things out of context and your response may be taken a little harsh. Remember people can't see the facial expressions or how you really mean things. This also works both ways, but no reason for any of us to get on another poster, especially some of the regulars here. Hey from someone that knows ya, your stepping on your dick, good thing, it's not all lost, we can step up be men and make things right. Take what I am saying seriously man, I do know some of the people you're getting into a keyboard battle with. Like I said I know both them and you and I know your would all get along in person. Now how about we step back and treat each other as if we were standing face to face. You know me also, I'd say this to you in person also. Lets all just be cool, the internet isn't worth BS and arguing on the internet doesn't win any of us anything.
