Heavyopp 167 Posted March 13, 2014 Like those Browns! Me too -- Mag1 -- I have to ask -- are you a working man, or retired? You always post some of the nicest pieces and I know they aren't cheap -- You definitely have deep pockets...

twong11219 0 Posted March 27, 2014 Nice Supergrade mag1. Did that come from WC that way, or did it have some additional surgery done afterwards?
mag1 0 Posted March 28, 2014 Nice Supergrade mag1. Did that come from WC that way, or did it have some additional surgery done afterwards? Wilson did all the work, Turnbull did the bluing
bhunted 887 Posted March 28, 2014 Why was it reblued? Was it an older model or? Wilson did all the work, Turnbull did the bluing
mag1 0 Posted March 28, 2014 Why was it reblued? Was it an older model or? Wilson just started doing in house bluing. They sourced all their requests for bluing to Turnbull, well at least charcoal blue and CCH. They dont use Turnbull anymore. I forget the BS reasons, but Turnbull Charcoal is nice. Like to see how it compares to Wilson now. Wilson polishes it first, and they do it the right way, then would send your pistol if you chose bluing to Turnbull. DeerSlayer 241 Posted June 23, 2014 Colt Government .45acp & a Sig .22 I've noticed since buying and shooting 1911's, I have stopped looking at the other cases at the LGS. I go right for the 1911 gun porn now. I'm just not interested in anything else anymore.

WhiskeyTangoFoxtrot 358 Posted June 23, 2014 How does it shoot? Very soft. Feels like a .22 compared to a 45ACP 1911. I know Rocks don't have the greatest reputation, but I'm pleasantly surprised for the money.
