Long guns. All other types of gear. Only thing you can't buy and take with you, assuming it's NJ legal, are handguns and lower receivers.

Nope. Lower receivers can only be taken possession of in you're state of residence, just like a handgun. It's "other" on the forms, not long gun

Someone else could answer better as I have never done it. As stated above, Cabelas has COEs. If you were to go to a smaller shop in PA, I'd suggest bringing a couple just in case.

 

Not sure if you need the FID, buy I'd say bring it anyway, just to be safe.

Same distance for me as Hamburg, but we drive right past Christiana  on our way down to Maryland at least 2-3x/year.

 

Add no sales tax and this looks like a winner.
