Parker 213 Posted April 28, 2014 Very nice O/U. Best of luck with it.The FN 101 design is more Beretta than Winchester or Browning. The FN receiver utilizes locking pins and trunnions like the Beretta, a low-profile boxlock design that allows for the barrels' monoblock to sit low in the receiver. It is a design that has been around in different Beretta model variations since the mid-fifties. It remains unchanged to this day, for it is an excellent and simple design. The Invector-Plus tubes and over-bored barrels on the FN will provide good uniform patterns and the barrels are flared so they are thicker at the choke tube threads and muzzle end for strength; a take from the Browning Citori Invector barrels in design. Krdshrk 3,878 Posted April 28, 2014 That's sexy.... now the real question - How much?
Vlad G 345 Posted April 28, 2014 The SC1 is superb. I have zero interest in a over under, I don't shoot clays, but I got to shoot one of the first 2 or 3 guns to come into the country, they weren't even for sale yet, and I found myself saying .. Hmm I should buy one. I had no reason and no need and I smacked sense into myself but is was that good.Enjoy, it's a great gun.
