pitt1717 0 Posted June 29, 2016 Im currently using freedom munition 9mm ammo and bought another 1k rounds the day before fathers day. problem is, this is the second time i ordered from them only to have shipping be held up because of their free shipping deals (i did not get free shipping). I get that promotions are good, but i still have yet to get a shipping confirmation and like last time, it looks like its a 3 week wait. where does everyone get bulk ammo from that ships consistently and is good quality? I would like to keep it near freedoms prices of 19-21 cents a round. thanks
GRIZ 3,369 Posted June 29, 2016 You can usually find good 9mm that cheap from SG Ammo. Shipping is reasonable.
T Bill 649 Posted June 29, 2016 Target Sports USA, check Cabelas, free ship till midnight tonight. Remington is $11.99 I think and there is a rebate available. No dopey checking your ID either.
Lambo2936 297 Posted June 29, 2016 I generally buy from sgammo if not freedommunitions, though freedom only took a few days to ship to me last time. Right now, everyone has been crazy delayed because of everyone freaking out and buying up ammo.SGammo seems to have caught up and is only taking 2 or 3 days to ship, though a week or 2 ago they had 1+ week delays.Definitely check them out. Their inventory is a bit low right now due to the frenzy, but they have fairly good prices. Just shop around; some places are higher than others. I know some of the stuff at sgammo went up a bit due to summer increases as well as demand.
Krdshrk 3,877 Posted June 29, 2016 SGAmmo definitely. Cabelas you can sometimes find deals. Wideners isn't as well priced but they ship decently. The Armory can have deals from time to time and they're good on shipping too. Target Sports USA too.
Blake 50 Posted June 29, 2016 I have stuff for sale at comparable prices in the classified section. No reloads all factory.

Old Glock guy 1,127 Posted June 29, 2016 Always good to buy from a local guy, like Blake. I get a lot of my ammo from targetsportsusa.com. They don't charge for shipping on cases. Just picked up 1000 rounds of Aguila 9mm (brass) today for $209 shipped. They usually ship pretty promptly, which is also nice.
NJJim 37 Posted June 29, 2016 I'll give another vote for Target Sports USA. Have bought from them several times this year. They had the best prices on what I wanted and a couple of times I got my ammo in two days! Always get free shipping on cases.
Howard 538 Posted June 29, 2016 Why not just plan ahead and keep some inventory on hand. Then, when some place like Freedom offers free shipping just buy and you don't have to care how long it takes. I ordered some Father's day weekend with the free shipping and had actually forgotten about it till you mentioned it. I imagine it will show up in a week or so and just go into the inventory pile. Slab Sides 20 Posted June 29, 2016 Palmetto has pretty good prices and ships fast to NJ. I only order from Freedom Munitions if it's a free shipping deal and a % off because I know it's going to be a while. Also got a sweet deal on .45 from Cheaper Than Dirt. Shipped pretty quick. Ricky_Bobby 130 Posted June 29, 2016 +2 on Target Sports USA - I shop them and Bulk Ammo bc sometimes with shipping Bulk Ammo might be slightly less - I was using Sportsmans Guide for the past few months when they had free shipping promotions but now they have excluded Ammo on the last few times - so fuck them now. pitt1717 0 Posted June 29, 2016 hey guys thanks for the info. aside from SG i have placed orders with all of them. I guess because i just don't have the time or money and am still new, it doesn't make sense for me to reload so what i am trying to do is find a brand that i can consistently get. this way from match to match I'm not shooting umc, then winchester, then blazer etc. and each have its own characteristic. i guess I'm trying to get the benefits (somewhat) of reloading without having to reload. which is why i am trying freedom. I know theres also Lax and was wondering if anyone has any other companies that make good remans (or new) that is easy to get and still on the cheap. Purple Patrick 638 Posted June 29, 2016 I've had good luck with lax remanufactured Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
0verholt 6 Posted June 29, 2016 Just tried SGammo for first time; shipping is cheaper than others and it's going out tomorrow. *Finally swore off Cheaper than Dirt. I'm one of those suckers who idiotically gave them my documents. Dig this: it's been a while since I ordered from them and they wanted me to send a copy of my new driver's license lol, as if it's something they run! Such arbitrary bulls***, they take "cover your a**" way too seriously. It's like the P2P process here. Sgammo is better: cheaper prices and shipping. There's a reason they sell out of stuff left and right.
T Bill 649 Posted June 30, 2016 Even Cabelas don't care about ID and ammo, primers and powder however they do, go figure.
0verholt 6 Posted June 30, 2016 Yea all cuz the lovechild of the Gestapo and KBG has its greasy fingers and all seeing eye in every ammo box East of the wall
Lambo2936 297 Posted June 30, 2016 I ordered from freedom once, and shot a few hundred rounds of their ammo; i wouldn't hesitate to do so again, but not at their normal pricing. Even with free shipping, its really not a great deal for reloaded ammo. They had a sale that was 10% off all regular ammo (new and reman) and 15% off the fancy stuff (Soft point, XTP or whatever the fancy stuff is, etc.), PLUS i had a free shipping coupon.. Got reloaded .223 for 25.2 cents each, shipped to my door. Not bad at all, seeing as i paid 32 cents for new Wolf. Just snagged a deal from a member on here for like 29 cents a round for federal 5.56 for a few thousand, plus the 6500 rounds of .22 i picked up yesterday, so im good on 223/556 and .22 for at least a year. Still need to pick up more 308/3006/.45/9mm when i find a good deal on those.SGammo is my go to for factory new ammo, though, for sure, assuming freedom is full price and i dont find a bargain from a member. Gus 33 Posted July 19, 2016 You can usually find good 9mm that cheap from SG Ammo. Shipping is reasonable. +1 Never had an issue, and shipping has always been quick and reasonably priced. Even if they are out of one thing or another, you can sign up to get an email or text alert when it is in. I like 9mm Blazer Brass 124gr. It is usually .20 cents a round and goes quick when it is in stock. So I set up the text alert when I need it, and within a few days it is in stock and I buy it right then and there. wadezky 8 Posted July 20, 2016 Funny, I was coming on here to ask who people order from by the case other than SGammo and bulkammo. I've ordered from both....SG is cheaper but is almost always out of stock of what I want and bulkammo has everything that I use in stock but is like $30-$40 more per case. And a box of 50 Gold Dot 9mm 124gr at SG is like $23 and bulkammo is $38....totally insane. That's not my range ammo, that's just an example of something I bought. So while yes I can wait for SG to get back in stock, I wanted to see the other options out there
