Paulie Buffo 17 Posted March 24, 2018 Friends in PA - please come join us on Monday. PA is also coming under attack - we need to support each other. Any anti-firearm, anti-freedom, anti-citizen law that passes in any state just emboldens those who wish to take away our rights. Pushing overreaching laws based on the "emotion of the moment" and not "logical thought" is not only dangerous but also an embarrassment to our law makers and our state. Our state senators and assemblymen need to behave like logical adults and not emotional children. Not one of these laws would have prevented any of the recent tragedies.
Paulie Buffo 17 Posted March 24, 2018 BTW: just turned on the news - they are labeling the march today as a "march against gun violence". Hmmmm... why can't they just say the truth - its a march against citizen gun ownership. It has nothing to do about "violence". The same old anti-gun, anti-Trump, anti-Republican, purely politically motivated people sponsoring and speaking.

The worst possible optic is a bunch of silver hairs (no offense) with no young faces in the crowd. FYI: Some of us bought 4XL's to slip-on OVER our jackets in addition to our regular size shirt But you're right, it's not about shirts, IT'S ABOUT SHOWING-UP! THEY DIDN'T HAVE BUSES IN 1775,THEY JUST SHOWED-UP! Stolen from Historian Jay Factor! "On June 14, 1775, Congress authorized the raising of rifle companies in Pennsylvania, Virginia and Maryland. Immediately, hundreds of young men from the western counties came forward to volunteer. These hardy men from the frontier used their rifles to bring in food and provide defense against Indians. As soon as they were organized, rifle companies marched to the aid of Boston. At that time, rifles were seen in the backwoods of Pennsylvania, Virginia and Maryland as well as the southern colonies, but in New England they were a novelty. Washington, having been a Colonel in the Virginia militia and having served actively in the French & Indian War was well acquainted with the rifle and the men who used them. He looked forward to the arrival of the rifle companies. On July 18th the first rifle company reached Cambridge from Berks County, Pennsylvania. Others soon followed. The riflemen went out of their way to cover ground quickly as well as to put on demonstrations of their marksmanship ability on their march to Massachusetts. Daniel Morgan marched his men 600 miles in 21 days while Michael Cresap's company covered 550 miles in 22 days. Not one rifleman got on a bus, asked if there was bus, asked who was paying for the bus or pissed off Washington. THEY JUST SHOWED-UP!"

However, I will be traveling to Atlanta on business for the final week of my project there. In lieue of attending the rally I will be making an additional round of contributions to all of the 2A organizations I am a member of(see my signature). If my travel plans change, then I will be there. In any event, hoping the weather is good that day for everyone. My flight has been confirmed and early Monday morning I will be on a plane to Atlanta. I wish each and every one of you best of luck on Monday and a very successful and impactful rally. As I committed above; over the course of the past week I have in fact made donations to NRA-ILA, SAF, ANJRPC, CNJFO, and NJ2AS. (They were not trivial.) I encourage others who are unable to attend the rally to do the same. Regards
capt14k 2,052 Posted March 24, 2018 Edit Farmingdale Bus is listed. However For those in the Western Monmouth area I think the best route is to drive to Princeton Junction hop on train to Trenton and then walk or take bus to rally location. $5 to park in Princeton Junction, $5 for train each way ($2.45 Seniors, Disabled, and Child), and $2.50 for bus each way. Total $20 for most of us. Trains leave #3815 7:22AM arrives 7:38AM #3817 7:56AM arrives 8:12AM#3921 8:26AM arrives 8:45AM Last train is cutting it close. Walk is 20 minutes. Buses leave every 10 min and take 4-7min. Hope info helps. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

capt14k 2,052 Posted March 25, 2018 Bus location details, including Farmingdale, received via email about 15 mins ago.Ok I stand corrected on Farmingdale. However for me to travel half hour East to go West makes little sense. I would think those in Manalapan, Marlboro, Monroe, Millstone, Old Bridge, Jamesburg, Upper Freehold, Allentown, East Windsor, Hightstown, and of course West Windsor would feel the same. I apologize that you have to listen to any griping at all from the people you're working so hard to help. Who is griping. I was trying to be helpful by offering an alternative for those of us West of Farmingdale and closer to Trenton. Is it bad to not take the bus? It would seem Rosie didn't take me posting the train schedule the wrong way so I could give a damn what someone above thinks.
