What is the pistol that you will always grab when you need absolute reliability and accuracy? Can be self defense, range, competition.

 

Mine is a West German Sig P220 45 ACP. I have had it for many years and it has never let me down. Stays next to me at night and shoots any ammo I put through it.

For HD/SD it would have to be my S&W M&P45, night sights, Insight Procyon light, and it goes bang everytime I squeeze the trigger.

For the range it would be my Python, 2# trigger D/A SWEET!

Funny you should ask.. That would be "Oldslabsides"... Colt Government Model Enhanced 45 ACP. I don't know about you guys but the 1911 is probably the sexiest gun ever made.

My HK45 with an Insight M6x sits above my head every night. Better than any sleeping pill on the planet, I know if I need it there will be no issues whatsoever. You could hit that gun with a sledge hammer and it would still run like a top.

45XD Compact stoked with 13 230 gr Ranger T's and a Streamlight T1. Also mine has factory night sights. I like the M&P 45 but you only get 10 rounds.

Right now, it's my Kimber 1911 with night sights. I want to get a light for it as well. I don't keep it loaded though... but the mags are a breath away.
