Shooting an animal that can kill you with rounds that might not kill it, stupid. Maybe you wound it and the bear suffers. Maybe you piss it off and he attacks you. Maybe you kill it and it wasn't posing a threat. Either shoot to kill, or don't shoot.

For those who feel they should ship or store then so be it. As so with those who choose to keep them in your freezer. But to those bent on turning them in, why? They don’t know what you have now. By turning them in Murphy gets an idea of how effective his crappy idea is. I say smash them and toss them. Shoot them up or run them over in your driveway. Anything but give Murphy an idea when he does his audit of how many were turned in. His count will be zero. Like his IQ. He’ll have no idea of what effect his brainstorm has had on the actual mag count. Store’m, ship’m, hide’m or destroy them but don’t turn them in!!

I don't know that I would be all that dramatic.. but we definitely have a problem.. and I don't want to derail this threat into crazy hypotheticals.. but.. you have a large chunk of the nation.. that believes America is a great place.. a people proud of their traditions.. people that value what the country was founded on.. people who honor things like gun rights.. want secure borders.. expect people to work for a living.. you have an equally (if not larger) chunk of people that believe America CAN be a great place.. if we cast aside traditions.. open our borders.. embrace new socialist mindsets.. etc.. those two factions of people could not be any more different.. they are essentially opposites... so what now.. you can only pull something in two directions for so long before you have a problem.. I don't know what the ultimate outcome to all that is.. but to say it is concerning is an understatement..

A Jersey legal Auto Ordnance semi-auto version of a Thompson Sub Machine Gun in .45 ACP. Fires from a CLOSED BOLT via a standard, spring actuated sear & firing pin. Will accept all Thompson mags, so ya can really have fun in Free Amerikka w/o a tax stamp (still semi)! Believe it or not, but the guy who owns it used to be an ANTI, and is now a gun-wielding Patriot! And a friend of mine!

So, there are federal laws about possession of marijuana, Gov. Murphy doesn’t like them so he chooses to ignor them... ....there are federal laws around illeagal immigration and sanctuary cities, Gov. Murphy doesn’t like those laws, so he chooses to ignor them... ...citizens have a right under the constitution of the United States to “keep and bear arms”..., Gov. Murphy doesn’t like that so he chooses to ignor that.... ....I’m not a smart man, but.....

I'm going to post this in more than one place to maximize readership. I just posted this today on our CNJFO Facebook page: GUN-GRABBIN' INCREMENTALISM INFECTS NJ OWNERS! NJ DISARMING ITSELF BY COMPLYING WITH BAD LAWS! by Kilroy Was Here special to Black Wire Media Dec. 4, 2018 www.cnjfo.com/join-us "THEN THEY CAME FOR ME--AND THERE WAS NO ONE LEFT TO SPEAK FOR ME". We are entering perilous times in the State of NJ and the state of our nation – and world - as a whole. As we peer into the unknown and the liberal mandate of using the correct speech, so as not to offend - one has to wonder how we got here. One needs to look no further than Great Britain to see what may unfold if we – as American Citizens and Patriots, take a back seat. How did we get to a place, that the dialogue of opposing ideas, the epic oratory battle to express one’s beliefs in an open and free environment, is being stymied? Stymied for fear of offense by those that feel they are ushering in some sort of utopian dream where there is no animated contest for freedom – the freedom to seek life liberty and the pursuit of happiness – the zeal to excel as best one can. They feel it is better that we all get participation trophies for just showing up, instead of reaching for the top spot, and even if falling short – we are uplifted by the struggle. Stymied by those that would seek to remove your ability to defend yourself and your family from bad actors – or evil men with evil, horrid plans – they suggest that we embrace the state, they say we will protect you from evil and protect you from your words and the words of others. However, they sing it loud and proud – “ If you have a gun in your home I think you are pretty stupid” - They are truly ushering in a dystopian nightmare if allowed to continue. Theodore Roosevelt is quoted as saying: "Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat." – the liberal bastion is creating a generation bound to live in the gray twilight of life. Recently, someone I know was flagged for hate speech by the liberal children at Facebook for speaking in unison with a ‘friend’ that is also a 2A strong gun rights advocate. The post centered around the holocaust and the ‘friend of the friend’ made a statement that the holocaust should not happen again and better to perish in a pile of hot empty brass than be pushed into a sidecar. Somehow that is hate speech – somehow that is not in keeping with the liberal mindset of victimhood – somehow, I wonder if the liberal children at Facebook trying to usher in the utopian dream by censorship, even know, or even believe what happened in the Warsaw Ghetto. Today in NJ we are seeing a leadership in Trenton that is part of this dystopian nightmare. Part of the culture of state control, part of the culture of censorship and limiting the rights of citizens to defend oneself and to be free to exercise rights as enumerated in our beloved Constitution. They are now encroaching heavily on our right to keep and bear arms, limiting our ability to defend one’s home, our communities and our nation – from all enemies foreign and domestic. Can a parallel be drawn to the control push in Germany in the 20’s – 30’s that is still heavily debated today as a cause of, or support of the holocaust? Possibly, and I would err on the side that if those that were being targeted, had the means and where with all to resist, maybe things would be different. We in SIX SHORT DAYS will have the result of this gun control push, a limitation of our right to ammunition capacity – for the greater good. What that greater good is I could not tell you, because we all know that these laws are limitations. They have no bearing on the criminal element and how they operate and go about their daily lives, they could not care one wit about a magazine ban or limitation thereof. That leads us to then question why the encroachment on law abiding citizens, why was there an encroachment on law abiding citizens in Germany – why is there one here in New Jermany? Only time will answer these questions, only time will tell what the reasoning for this is. I believe the sole reason for these encroachments, is death by a thousand slices – and the death song for the 2A among liberals, is the total disarmament of a nation. “If I had the votes, Mr. Mrs. America turn in your guns”. They speak about their plans load and proud, they lately do not use false speak to attempt to lead you into a false sense of security – you know what they want, you know what their aim is. Total disarmament – don’t let their nightmare come to fruition. As the date for compliance draws nearer with the December 10th MAG BAN looming over our heads – each patriot must make a decision – a decision that must be made using common sense and a strong will – a decision that one must be able to live with in the coming days and months – until such time as we can continue to fight these onerous laws with growing vigor and resoluteness. Our strength can only come in numbers and vibrant voices of freedom of strength – the time of remaining silent and disconnected are over – we must be unified - to continue the push back – to fight these laws and this speech of disarmament head on. We must not be afraid to use our voice, our strength at the ballot box and to speak out while not being afraid to be branded. Remember one thing, history does repeat, men are evil, there is dreadful evil in the world and we must fight it head on. First they came for the black rifle types, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a black rifle type guy - Then they came for the semi auto pistols and hi cap mags, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a semi auto hi cap mag guy - Then they came for the revolvers, and I did not speak out—Because I was not a revolver shooter- Then they came for me, the shotgun hunter—AND THERE WAS NO ONE LEFT TO SPEAK FOR ME... EDITOR's NOTE: The views expressed by our freelance writer & Patriot, "Kilroy Was Here" are printed as a History Lesson to MAKE READERS THINK! CNJFO, its' officers & staff volunteers do not condone breaking the laws of the state of NJ. We are however providing you with the knowledge you need to make a Patriot's choice. For full details on how to COMPLY, see the ANJRPC bulletin here: https://cdn.ymaws.com/…/e…/complying_with_nj_s_mag_ban-.pdf…

Many people know that there is a reenactment of Washington Crossing the Delaware every Christmas. But what a lot of you probably don't know is that there is a full dress rehearsal 2 weeks before Christmas. That's right - this Sunday, December 9th. https://www.washingtoncrossingpark.org/events/ We'll be fielding 3 artillery pieces this year, so there will be lots of noise. A great event for the kids too; we'll drill them and turn them into soldiers (OK, small soldiers). I'll be the tall goofy looking guy commanding one of the artillery pieces. Did I mention there will be 3 :)? So come on out and learn some history, support the park, and enjoy a day in the great outdoors. See you there!

Only ONE open firearm allowed in a Port? You're at the wrong joint, lol! Here's a pic from a typical Tony Simon Diversity Shoot. When the next shooter steps-up they point to what they wanna shoot. Noobs get to dry fire, and old hands help load mags. Only ONE gun is handled, loaded & fired at a time. FYI the same guy owns the Chiefs Special, The Thompson, and the Red 9 Mauser Broomhandle. Everything gets opened prior to the crowd's rush, then cleared prior to being put away.

Can you point out where its technically illegal to transport? Iv asked this question and have yet to have someone show this to me. Its the opinion of Some that your cant based on the fact the law does not say you can... this is not how the law works... something must be stated as illegal for it to be illegal. atleast that was truth last time i checked. I know i dont need approval because we have been storing magazines for people for ages prior to this law for Milsurp guns that people did not want to mod the mags for... Ruin the history of the part.... We are federal dealers... WE DO NOT NEED permission to have items that are legal federally. There is no point in asking the NJSP as we can have what NJ describes as "assault weapons" in the shop without permission.. A magazine is an unregulated part. They can be shipped to your home.... Its just illegal for You to have in your possession its not illegal for the shop to possess it which is exactly what happens when you give turn them over to us. can the bodies be turned over LOL That is exactly the reason to put advertising in the first page. BTW I'm not MAD about anything... the people should be mad since they might have asked their local FFL to store mags and maybe it would be without cost.. who knows. I have no plans to mass store magazines for the general public.

It will take more than some gun people marching on Trenton, it will take coordinated action on the national level by everyone in the 2A food chain, including gun manufacturer's, parts distributor's, and 2A support from other states. When the lefty is upset with something they all stick together, even the banks, the media, etc., etc...When 2A is assaulted we fight in in isolation, whether in NJ or other lefty states. No coordinated national effort (NRA where are you on this), no media coverage (fox where are you on this), gun manufacturer's where are you on this. All the while, the Lefty is happy to pick us off one state at a time...I guess when all the guns are gone in American, well those in law abiding civi's hand's, the gun manufacture's believe they can have thriving businesses selling to the ever-growing police state, military, and gang-banger's. And maybe they are right -LOL.
  22. 2 points
Bend over and take it, just like all the other previous unconstitutional laws. or, bitch about it here...
  23. 2 points
Good luck with that... we can hardly get 10,000 gun owners to march to the voting booth.
  24. 2 points
We'll find out if a meaningful number of gun owners in New Jersey actually have a red line they will enforce and demonstrate by publicly disobeying. This would be an appropriate stimulus for mass non-compliance as mentioned by myself, Vlad and others. 10,000+ gun owners marching the streets of Trenton waving non-compliant magazines would render the law unenforceable, as our drug laws are. Individual acts of non-compliance will be meaningless. Cloward-Piven at work.
  25. 2 points
One could almost (but not quite) make the case that the value of the magazines affected by this could be deducted from one's federal taxes on IRS form 4684-Theft and Casualty Losses.

State Police in Alaska use 12 ga slugs. I've chased lots and lots of black bear out of my campsites by just yelling at them and acting aggressive. Black bear are pretty doscile compared to other bear. But...that works until it doesn't. If a bear is intent on getting to you, I'm not sure anything non-lethal will work.
  27. 2 points
agree.. you are either in a life or death situation.. or you are not.. if you are not in a life or death situation.. pissing it off may turn it into one.. if you are in a life or death situation.. well you know how that will end.. I was shooting steel plates with slugs over the weekend.. just because.. I would trust that to stop a bear.. the amount of energy dumped into the steel was pretty impressive..
  28. 2 points
with all due respect.. I think that is a bad idea.. mistakes happen.. accidents happen.. police have to be in homes sometimes.. I understand the frustration.. and I think the law is ridiculous.. but failing to comply.. unless you have some high profile lawyer in your corner who is ready to fight the big fight on your behalf on his or her dime.. its a decision you could pay for the rest of your life.. not complying only works in mass when there are enough people not complying that the governing body can simply not deal with.. and I would not rest my freedom or the rest of my life on that.. you are all not alone... firearms in our entire country is an uncertain mess.. here we are.. nothing pro gun passed.. and the president poised to ban "bump stocks"... we are even losing ground under this administration.. so save your fight for the big nationwide fight that is inevitable..
  29. 2 points
you can come to my range.. we can setup steel.. you can run around.. shoot SBRs.. big mags.. whatever you want.. just don't leave any alcohol in the fridge when you go.. apparently they don't like that..

Heading out to PA on Wednesday. Plan to hunt Thursday and Friday. PA is nice in that I can use a .30-.30. It's late in the season there, so if my usual luck holds I won't actually be hunting, I'll be taking the guns for a walk. But that's OK, it gets me outside, and gives me an excuse to drink good bourbon in the woods with my buddies (after hunting, of course!)

It's just different and the same in some respects. To totally dismiss classes based on one experience, maybe someone needs to take a class? The same way someone who just takes classes should go shoot a competition. I teach Firearms everyday. I have come across "experts" almost on a daily basis. Just cause someone shoots extremely well doesn't make them a good teacher of people. The same way a good teacher of people sometimes don't come in first in a Competition.

I agree with this^^^. I also don't think a hot link to a 4-page pdf is brain surgery. I think most people involved with firearms are just Schmucks in a hurry! And they use their PHONES instead of a far more superior communications tool, THE COMPUTER! "Phone People" are the very first Schmucks to fly off the handle with gross misinterpretations....simply due to ignorance compounded by laziness by using a tiny device with a tiny screen & then missing a LOT of SH!T! Signed, A Schmuck that edited a dozen+ paragraph, exceptionally well-written article meant to stimulate the frontal lobe!

Oh no doubt NJ its its own mess. But legally i understand their position but disagree. Similar to the shockwaves there are lawyers that still say they are illegal even though we have a letter from the NJSP stating the opposite... so its a matter who do you believe and how much control you are will to turn over.
  42. 1 point
OK, here's an money making idea for you FFLs. Take all the 15 round bodies, and weld them together in some sort of anti 2A statue, maybe have them give the finger to Murphy. You guys can sell them. Hell, I'll get on the waiting list NOW for one. Something similar to this, get creative:

@revenger - Forget these armchair commandos I as many of you know lived in bear country many years, in the heart of it. If a bear is non threatening and you want to get it out of your territory, Bear quality rubber buckshot works. It may send him into a different territorial zone. Even a rubber slug .But, not the LE stuff, Real bear stuff. And, you don't want to permanently injure the poor bastard. You MUST shoot it in the fleshy part of the ass. It's certainly big enough. Definitely not the face or head or I will call you douche bag. Threatening bears are a different story or even non-threatening if you just want immediate action. (like they're in your garbage) Air horn in left hand 12ga w/ rifled slug in right. Bears aren't really complex. You may have an adolescent male looking for territory. I have compassion for them, yes they were here first and all you f'ing city people encroached. But manage them. You're the top of the food chain. BTW Lightfield makes a complete line of bear deterrent slugs and buckshot in rubber.

When I shoot a match I tend to blaze away since I know there are no friendlies. And usually I end up with a decent score because of that (even when the no-shoots get ventilated). I can't begrudge someone a little less speed, though, because they train to make absolutely sure of their targets and missing isn't an option. I don't get fired or go to jail for missing or shooting the no-shoots
  45. 1 point
The vast majority would read the main page and move on... its deceiving. That being said whats pre-approved to store mags.. No FFL i spoke with ever heard of such a thing. If driving them to gun sitters is illegal would it also be illegal to drive them to the post office or UPS or do you need them to pick up from your house. that being said.. In America its illegal if a law says its illegal, Its not illegal because it did not say it was legal.
