coldsolderjoint 84 Posted September 16, 2009 Title says it all, since we are a "closer" group of people than some other forums.. might be nice to share the 411 on good places to eat in NJ. I'm Central. Today: Tido N His Junkyard dogs http://valuemenus.com/scarletmenus/menus.php?R=75&item= It's a tiny shack near St Peter's in New Brunswick. Wednesday is $1.25 chili dog day! 3 chilidogs and a soda for 5 bucks even.. can't beat that! In my opinion, the best hot dog in the area so far. His burgers are good too. Some cool combinations of toppings on his menu.

bbk 188 Posted September 17, 2009 If you want good sushi buffet, check out Ichiumi in the Menlo mall complex. Ichiumi's roots are in NYC, being one of the best sushi places in the City. They branched out, and the Menlo location is their first non-NYC area. I've been there a couple times, and it outclasses everyone else. I've been to the different Minado locations, as well as Makkoli's (which is still one of my favorite)... as well as the smaller no name places... and Ichiumi is by far the best. Definitely a bit pricey, but hell, its sushi buffet-- what do you expect. As for lunch, a cheesesteak from Aljon's in Plainsboro

JC_68Westy 1,024 Posted September 17, 2009 Todai's in Honolulu, Hawaii All you can eat Asian buffet wow There is another decent sushi buffet down the street a few miles is Makino Chaya at Aloha Tower. A great local place is the Side Street Inn on Hopaka Street near the mall. It is a real local place with some interesting food.
coldsolderjoint 84 Posted September 17, 2009 Have you guys ever heard of a Steakzilla! ? 1 lb of Fresh Rib Eye, your choice of cheese, and onions on a big ole Italian roll. Ted's Stop - South Amboy http://steakzillas.com/ Lol, I go see Ted at least once a week. I usually get the regular sized though (1/3 pound)... Delicious.. He beats ANY of the local places around IMO, and most of the places in Philly itself.
