XDJohnTact 49 Posted December 30, 2009 I have trouble figuring out where the line is drawn? Some people say it is the Raritan River Bridge, but we all know that is not true. Some say it is Route 37 and then Route 70 after they merge in Whiting. I can tell you one thing I learned when I was working at Boater's World on 37. Everyone who lived north of 37 tended to root for NY teams and everyone south of 37 tended to root for PA teams so maybe that really is the line? Also, the transition from dirt to sand lies somewhere between Rt. 37 and Lacey Road where the "Pinelands" officially start so maybe that is the line? I don't think it is Rt 72 since there is no real geographical difference on either side of the road. Of course, all you inbred people from down in Burlington, Atlantic, Cape May and Glouchester County thing you are south? So who knows? Maybe we have some scientists or geologists on the board who can give a definitive answer?

I lived at least 20 miles north of that and at least 10 miles inland and I was all sand, no dirt.
