Bi-Weekly meetup at Bullet Hole

Recommended Posts

Um, trying to keep this on topic. Tuesday is right around the corner guys. Hope to see these bugles!

I'm in. I'm bringing all the goodies I can carry. Definitely bringing the XD and the AR with the CMMG .22LR kit in it. Probably bringing the Walther P22 and the 22A if I can fit it in my bag. I'll probably leave the Glock at home though.

For the record I don't personally own anything by Gans, but everything that I have heard or read about them is extremely positive.

Gans is great! Good prices, excellent workmanship, and fast turn around time. He did a bunch of work on my Colt Delta Elite...

I'll have on my trademarked Zombie hunting outfit. Well minus the Hawaiian shirt. Beige cargo shorts, white NJGF t-shirt, sneakers, and my Miller Lite visor. I WILL have a port tonight as I plan on getting there for 6:30. Bringing the AR w/ 22lr conversion, Walther P22, S&W 22A, and the XD9 Sub compact.

figures.......the one time the place is almost empty, only 5 people show up. and i taught ray how to use stripper clips.

I'm ordering one of those stripper clip loaders. Too bad they don't make those for .22's. Thanks for letting me shoot your AR and the .357. That's a nice gun. Ray Ray and Sigman those .45's are sweet. Sigman's is definely more accurate. ;) George it was nice to meet you. Hopefully we'll see you Sunday.

If it wasn't for the crusty old man this night would've been perfect! Noone there and lots of bugles to toot. If this crew is any inclination of my zombie squad, then we got our sh1t together up north! George would be on point with his Saiga, echo and Chris with their ARs on his wings, Rick covering their 6 with his AR while I stay safe at home base! I know, I'm crazy.

Nice seeing you again George. Your shooter is looking sweet. Echo - thanks for the brass brutha. Chris - you definently need a 1911 as a side arm in the zombie squad. You shot that like you owned it. I see a 1911 in your future. Ray was taking a liking to my GP100.

every single time hes there, he has some kind of **** to say to me, about the most trivial stuff.

Bro, you can't tell him anything! He has to top you on your story.

George, you have to mount a 45 degree rail for either BUIS or a small red dot.

Thought I'd give this a little bumpski

It's this Tuesday, at 7.

8-)

I'll be there. I went to CR today to shoot pistol and they were having a Mexican shoot at the pistol range. Such crap.

Edit: It was the 2x4 match. There just happened to be a few guys dressed in Mexican ponchos and sombreros.

    • If you’re going to VA, buy 2 radios.  Program one for here and one for there.  If you guys are buying Baofeng radios do yourself a favor and get a tactical antenna for it,it’ll extend your reach.
    • Both our memories are a bit lacking. 3 bystanders were hit by NYPD bullets and 6 were hit by fragments at the Empire State Building shooting. The bullets later were determined to have passed through the bad guy as I said. He was not a big guy. The police fired 16 rds and 7 hit the bad guy.  Spray and pray?  I think not.  These officers fired until the threat was stopped and everyone is moving. Have you ever tried to hit a moving target whilst you're moving.  If you watch the video from where the police encounter him, the BG draws his gun from his bag, NYPD guys shoot, and the BG hit the ground is about 2 or 3 seconds.  The closest officer is maybe 12 feet or less.  The closest cover are those concrete flower pots.  If the officers chose to take cover before drawing the BG would have had a chance to shoot at least one officer. Know your target and beyond?  Agree 100%.  However, this by the Empire State Building at 9 am during the week.  There are bystanders and traffic in every direction.  The officers had a choice of doing what they did or letting the BG shoot them with his 1911 and shoot someone else. I think they made the right choice and the same one I would have made.  The officers exercised the best option in protecting themselves and the public. The first video is the police shooting.  The second is more detailed and gives you a lot of background information on the shooter. One thing this shows is if NYPD had to use fmj undoubtedly more bystanders would have been wounded perhaps killed.  NJ's hollowpoint law. only creates more danger to the public.
