Been having a sore throat the past few days. Today I woke up, and it kicked my ass. it would hurt to swallow.

 

so now got my ricolla cough drops, multi vitamins, nyquill. Slight fever during the day time.

I would agree, but that stuff only works if you take it at the onset of a cold. Once you have full blown symtoms it doesn't work. Drink some beer, watch a little tv, go to bed early, and call out of work tommorow . Thats all you need!

One of my roommates used to drink bourbon when he caught a cold...a lot of bourbon. He theory was that his body could handle either the hangover or the cold but not both at the same time. Seemed to work for him...

 

Of course, this was the same guy that had bourbon & cornflakes for breakfast when we ran out of milk.

The theory is that locally produced honey can help reduce allergies to local plants by giving the body small doses of the specific allergen and help build up a level of immunity. It's a nice theory, with data on both sides of the argument, but questionable science. At least you can support the local economy by buying local, and fresh honey tastes better and has no added crap.

Day 2 of the drama...

 

Had night sweats and a slight fever.... blah. But go through the night.

 

Right now, no fever, throat hurting a bit less, ears popping, stuffy but manageable nose. lol

 

took the day off.
