robot_hell 72 Posted February 16, 2011 Power went out way before we left, we ate in the dark, it was out longer than it was one when we were there.. Wow, how did I forget that! But you're right-- well, it stayed out the rest of the afternoon/night. They ended up closing.

Easter is late this year, I just knew it fell in the late March to late April range and didn't know if anyone had looked at a calendar to check. Maksim 1,504 Posted March 3, 2011 Unlike Trap & Skeet, Sporting clays is just fun. lol. They have clays thrown from all over, in different circumstances. Last time, took Anastasia, and her co-worker, whom have never shot shotguns before, and they loved it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2eoq8b5MIfY&feature=related
kenw 293 Posted March 3, 2011 Sporting clays is the most fun you can have with a shotgun and clay targets. Think of it as shotgun golf. You move from station to station, shooting a wide variety of shots at targets coming from all directions. Some singles, some doubles. There are birds coming low, high, slow, fast crossing left, crossing right, quartering, coming towards you, going away, and rolling on the ground. The whole course totals 100 shots. Wojo 98 Posted March 3, 2011 +1 on Sporting Clays. I've only done it once and really had a great time. Way more fun the trap / skeet to me.

Pew Pew Plates 358 Posted March 13, 2011 $38 per round, $18 per colf cart. So with 4 people, $42.50 per person per round. Plus the cost of 100 rounds of ammo.
