Obama will announce his gun control package tomorrow after hearing recommendations from crazy uncle Biden's group.

 

He will be flanked by, get this, "children who have written the white house urging for gun control action to be taken"

 

Looks like he will do some executive orders to enforce current laws on books and maybe urge congress to pass mag ban or close loophole. Sounds like they're giving up on the complete AWB.

According to a Washington Post article I just saw it seems that he's going to go for everything tomorrow via executive order... AWB, mag restrictions, and private gun show sales (w/o a background check)...

I don't read it as everything will be EO.. sounds like he has proposals for congress and then additional EO's.

We already have warrant-less wiretapping, assassination of US citizens, indefinite detention, e-mail spying, for almost a decade now.

 

Sometime a few years back, federal courts even ruled that evidence gained by police through illegal searches was still valid in court.

 

They've already gone after plenty of other amendments in our lifetime. They didn't need to wait to get rid of the second one.

I would love to be wrong.

 

Paranoid would be thinking that the mass shooting in Connecticut was a setup to promote gun control. However, there is a lot of evidence, misinformation, etc. to suggest that there is more to the story including the lack of connection of the mother to the school, her supposed profession, etc. Just as with the death of JFK, things don't seem to add up.
