RubberBullets 65 Posted February 5, 2013 His father enlisted in 1961 and was issued his M1 Garand Serial Number 1380819. His father has sinced looked for it for the past 50 years. His son, after contacting the CMP to query about the serial number, found and purchased it through the CMP and reissued it to him in proper Marine fashion.
